Really enjoyed my time at Sunray Samui. It’s one of those places that feels like a bit of a hidden gem — great beachfront setting, amazing ocean views and only about 10 minutes from the airport.
The pool right by the sea is a big plus, and there’s plenty going on if you feel like being active, but it’s just as easy to do absolutely nothing and relax.
Good comfort food, a nice happy hour, good music and a really laid-back atmosphere. I particularly liked the adults-only vibe — it makes it a great place to chill without feeling too busy or crowded.
The day pass is also really good value. For me, it’s the kind of place where you can switch off for a few hours, enjoy the sea and spend some quality time with friends or family.
Definitely one to keep in mind if you’re looking for a relaxed day out in Samui.
The best thing was the staff here!! Amazing friendly service, attentive because they remembered my repeat orders which was very nice. Very considerate staff - overall super professional and great relaxed vibes!
Thank you also to the chefs who were amazing - breakfast was so good, really enjoyed my seafood noodle-free pad thai, chicken noodles for breakfast, their hainanese chicken special was delicious too!

We spent the day at SunRay and the whole experience was absolutely incredible.
The setting is beautiful, with every space thoughtfully designed and a perfect blend of nature, small pools and peaceful corners created to relax and enjoy.
The atmosphere is calm and relaxing, yet there’s always something happening: activities, live music, sunset performances… The programme changes every day, so each visit can offer a completely different experience.
And the food deserves a special mention: an exquisite menu, beautifully presented dishes and so much attention to detail. On top of that, the staff were absolutely wonderful and made us feel incredibly welcome throughout the entire day.
You can arrive in the morning and stay until the evening, watching the whole place and its atmosphere gradually transform as the day goes by.
Such a beautiful day from beginning to end — one I’ll never forget and would definitely love to experience again.

Great place to disconnect and reconnect with friends & family. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, making it a lovely spot to enjoy good food, drinks, and time together. It’s also very convenient, just around a 10-minute drive from the airport, which makes it an easy stop when arriving in or leaving Koh Samui. Definitely worth visiting !

I visited this resort to enjoy the pool, beach, and food, and everything was gorgeous! The staff are very friendly and kind. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to enjoy their time in Samui.
