Hired Spitting Pig to cater our wedding the food was incredible , looked beautifully presented and just so delicious we got a lot of compliments from our very satisfied guests! We were talked through our menu and had it tailored to what we wanted the staff are friendly and very quick to respond to any questions we had top class service. Thank you to all at Spitting Pig for making our day so wonderful .

The Spitting Pig recently served a banquet meal for our wedding and it was utterly flawless. Not only did they cook the most fabulous food, they saved our day by taking us on as a last minute client (our other caterer had to drop out last minute). Their service was outstanding and it was the smoothest experience from start to finish. Most importantly, our guests were blown away by the quality of food, the generous portions and the incredibly kind and fun staff. I would recommend the Spitting Pig 1000% and will use them again in the future. Thank you so much guys.

Highly recommend Spitting Pig. From the calls to arrange the catering for our party, to the team on site to the quality of the food, everything was first class. The weather was shocking on the evening 50mph winds and rain but, the team cracked on with smiles and good humour and got it done with a minimum of fuss, allowing us the focus on the final touches for the party. Everyone raved about the food and how good it was with lots of people heading back for seconds. The clean up was quick and efficient and saved us loads of time the next day clearing up the aftermath. Will definitely use them again for future events.

Absolutely everyone commented on how amazing the food was and the service. Given the difficult nature of the gathering for my mothers funeral I especially appreciated the kindness with which the 2 ladies serving us provided to my daughter who is still talking about them. The food was exceptional and the set up and tidy up were so quick and quiet. I know several of our guests took cards and details from the ladies for future events. And I would certainly use spitting pig again in the future. Thank you for making our day a bit brighter.

Steve and Miriam were absolutely brilliant on the day. Their set up was perfect and suggestions about where to place things was spot on. We had ordered the Gourmet Barbecue and it certainly was. All the guests commented on the superb quality of the food. All dietary requirements were catered for exactly as requested. Everything about our Spitting Pig experience was fantastic and if anyone is looking around for people to provide catering for an event I cannot recommend Spitting Pig highly enough. 5 Star ++++. Special mention to Anne who wonderfully answered any questions or queries I had and put my mind at rest. Wonderful people to deal with.

Spitting Pig catered our wedding on 10th May 2025 at our family farm and they could not have been better from start to finish! Daisy and Anne spent so much time calling and emailing us to give us the perfect menu for our guests - nothing was too much trouble. Steven and his team were fantastic on the day! Multiple people commented on how friendly the caterers were. The food was exceptional and exceeded our expectations! We would highly recommend booking these guys for your event and will definitely book them again in the future!

We had an amazing experience with Spitting Pig. The food was absolutely delicious and the staff was so so kind. I really enjoyed having them for our pre-wedding day. We thought we were going to have too much food left over but people enjoyed it so much that everything got finished! Friday 8th Nov- Brian did us proud. He catered for 40 people bbq style for a pre wedding party, food was absolutely amazing, freshly prepared and cooked, lots of choices and plenty to go round. With some left over, this was all set aside for and stragglers and even over the weekend. Could not recommend Brian and his team enough, friendly and helpful serving fantastic food.

They were 45 minutes late to serve food at our Wedding this weekend past. Rather than being honest as mistake do happen, things can go wrong, the situation was handled extremely poorly! We were told 5 minutes for over half an hour, massively impacting our other caterer and then we could not have our wedding cake desserts sitting down, turnaround for our evening reception was delayed, some guests missed our first dance etc etc I had one staff member crying to my guests and another fell asleep their catering tent. It was so far removed from being professional and organised. I had to get other vendors to help them out, the upset, stress and embarrassment it caused us will stay with us. After complaining, I been left more angry by the rude and obnoxious catering manager. For clarity, we did receive a partial refund and apology but it will never make up for the failings on the day.

The Spitting Pig team catered our pre-wedding BBQ for 80 guests at the Achnagairn Estate in Kirkhill. We were so delighted with the quality and quantity of food - everyone loved the pork ribs in particular! All the staff were incredible throughout the night, everyone was so friendly and helpful - thank you! We couldn't recommend you highly enough.
