I went along to this place to have a look at the Brother SH40, the member of staff was exceptionally helpful and knowledgeable, he gave me an in-depth demonstration of the machine, answered my questions thoroughly. I brought the machine and I can't be happier, it does everything I want and more. Thank you so much.
I loved shopping for my daughter's new sewing machine here. It provided attention and service that you just don't get anywhere else anymore. The lovely lady sat my daughter down at the machine and went through how it all works with her so that she felt confident setting it up at home and using it straight away. They even offered to carry it out to my vehicle for me. We've had no troubles with the machine, but if we do, the shop have reassured us that we can come in anytime and they will sort it out. This is worth it's weight in gold as everything else these days involves hanging on a phone or talking to a chat bot. Great experience shopping here. Thank you

Called in today having bought a 2nd hand Janome machine on ebay for an elderly relative. It was described as pretty much unused and had been sitting in a cupboard for 20 years, and it matched the description on arrival. I just wanted it checked over before giving it to its new owner, expecting to leave it for a week or so.
Instead the manager of this shop asked to have a look at it, spent maybe 10 minutes looking it over and giving it a trial run stitching and confirmed its condition. We chose some cotton to go with the machine which was all we were charged for.
He could not have been more helpful, obliging, personable & informative and the place itself has a quiet air of professionalism and expertise. Many thanks; recommended.
Couldn’t be more helpful, I have rung and visited the shop and have been met with such helpful accommodating people each time. Couldn’t recommend them enough. I was taught how to thread and sort my machine out after I was struggling with it even when I hadn’t purchased from them directly. Cannot fault these people
Drove 40min to pick up a new foot and bobbins. He thought he was knowledgeable and in a very condescending way. However he presured me to purchase things that are incompatible. Not personable. Not worth the trek out.
Wow, one star! This lady came into my store this morning wanting a zipper foot and bobbins for her machine. I asked what machine and she didn’t know. I explained that I need to know to supply the correct parts. She looked on her phone and showed me a photo of a hobby craft machine (a type we don’t sell). After explaining that we don’t have parts for these machines I said we can try a universal zipper foot and explained how to check this fitted on her machine before she used it.
I also supplied her with some plastic bobbins that would fit this type of machine. I explained that if the parts were incorrect the customer could bring them back and get a refund if they were wrong.
She returned an hour or two later and returned the foot as she didn’t think it fitted and took a Brother concealed zipper foot instead (which probably won’t fit either)and insisted on metal bobbins rather than the correct plastic ones which won’t work properly in ANY modern drop in bobbin machine. In 20 years of trading and trying to help people this is the worst review I’ve ever had.

Being new to using a sewing machine. I used a old Toyota sewing machine for a year but found it hard to control the speed. I decided to buy a new machine. Sasha was very helpful and explained everything helping be to feel confident in my purchase will be returning and recommending.

I bought a Brother seeing machine from Sewing Machine World a few weeks ago. I chose the company after they successfully serviced my 40 year old Husqvarna machine with no fuss at all. The showroom is an hour away from me.
I had done my research, and had a bit of an idea what I wanted and then just let Sasha do the rest! She demonstrated the machines, and helped me choose the best for my needs. She was incredibly patient during my "test drive".
On the day agreed for delivery, my machine didn't arrive, Sewing Machine World were badly let down by their supplier. After some calls and messages, I answered my front door to Steve, the owner, who had brought a machine to me. Proper, fabulous, old fashioned service that just blew me away. Thankyou.
