Dr. A and lily were amazing and very nice. Dr. A walked me through everything he was doing and made sure I was comfortable, I highly recommend him. He is only at the office on Thursdays but I definitely will schedule only on that day with him.
Had to have an emergency wisdom tooth removal, the price was expensive due to no insurance for dental. Received stitches and did not get any type of pain medication or antibiotics for the removal, was told to use Tylenol and ibuprofen and ice packs. Was also told I would be contacted and checked on that afternoon, never heard from them. I would not suggest this place to anyone.
My visit was great! The assistant was attentive, and the dentist's main concern was my comfort. She told me what she was doing each step. I couldn't have asked for better treatment!

Dr. A is conservative with treatments. He laid out all the possible scenarios and treatments so I could be part of the decision making.
Friendly office staff!
Short wait times in the lobby. The office staff was friendly and overall for a first visit this was very pleasant. We scheduled the whole family for our dental care!
Katie was absolutely phenomenal! She was attentive to my needs, detailed and thorough in her work, answered all of my questions, and was patient with me.
My experience with this office was incredibly frustrating and demonstrated a complete breakdown in communication.
My husband was scheduled for a tooth extraction, and we specifically discussed sedation multiple times before the appointment. On two separate phone calls, we were told he would be receiving medication for sedation and that he “needed to bring a driver” because of it. Then, about two hours before his scheduled extraction, he received a phone call informing him that the office “does not offer medication sedation at all” and hasn't offered it “for years”. We were also told in person by a dental assistant that he would need a driver, making the misinformation even more confusing.
To make matters worse, their website still advertises medication sedation as a service they provide, which is simply false. Patients should not have to take time off work, arrange transportation, mentally prepare for sedation, and then be told at the last minute that the service has not even been offered for years. What was most disappointing was the complete lack of accountability. There was no apology for the misinformation or acknowledgment that the office had wasted our time. Instead, the front desk employee had an unprofessional attitude and simply repeated that they don't offer sedation, as if the repeated misinformation we had been given didn't matter. This level of miscommunication is unacceptable in any healthcare setting. If an office has not offered a service in years, every employee should know that, and the website should accurately reflect the services that are actually available. The scheduling staff, front desk, and clinical team all need to be properly trained and communicating the same information. Patients deserve accurate information, professionalism in, and basic courtesy when mistakes are made. Unfortunately, we experienced none of those things.

We're so sorry about your experience. It does sound like there is some confusion though because we do offer all 3 sedation types - Nitrous, Oral and IV. Got my wisdom teeth taken out a week ago and everyone made my experience go very smooth and well. Extractions are scary but they helped me feel relaxed. Thank you Cedar Lake Dental!
Service and Treatment was EXCEPTIONAL!! Went for my follow up from appointment because I got all my 4 wisdom teeth removed and the doctor said, I've healed up tremendously! He stated that's the best he's ever seen...😁👏
