Dr. Kupetz is an absolutely amazing doctor and human being. He came in after hours to assist me with a dental emergency. He was patient, kind and extremely thorough. This was the most laid back experience I have ever had at a dentist and I’m already a pretty good patient. Dr. Kupetz was friendly, professional, and was easy to talk to. Ray, the hygienist who assisted was absolutely fantastic and so sweet. I truly recommend them for all work, not just emergency work like I had. I imagine their practice is run just as efficiently.

Dr. Scott is an absolute life saver! His emergency service is amazing. I went in on Saturday at 7 pm with a tooth pain around an 8 I walked out an hour later happy as can be. He’s got excellent bedside manner and was an absolute pleasure. This is coming from someone who is absolutely terrified of the dentist. Couldn’t recommend him more

Dr. Scott and his amazing staff offered me multiple emergency appointment times within the same day, and were flexible around my life events. I have severe dental anxiety and they were prepared with a calming environment as soon as I came in. Also- the shortest wait I’ve ever had at a dental office (none)! His prices are on the higher side (which they were transparent about) and worked with me to come up with a solution in my budget. I can’t sing high enough praises to the comfort I felt in the office. I’d 100% be back if it were in my budget. I cannot recommend enough.

I was just in for an emergency exam regarding serious problems with an infected tooth and was treated very well by the team here. After trying many other offices to absolutely no avail we ended up calling here earlier today (Saturday) at about 3:30pm and were responded to immediately, and I was given an appointment for 6:30pm. I was thoroughly examined and the actual cause of my pain was explained very well to me, and I was provided with an immediate treatment option and a script for antibiotics to hold me over until I can see my own dentist. Even though this is the first time I've ever even been here I can tell that this is a fantastic office. Thank you so much for seeing me and giving me the care you did today!

Came in for an abscess and tooth pain. Dr scott recommended a root canal and drainage of abscess. All I can say is his bedside manner is there and his skill is there I was numbed and didn’t feel a single ounce of pressure. Thank you Dr Scott

Very attentive and focused on making you feel comfortable. Dr. Kupetz has amazing bedside manner and truly cares about his patients. I was very anxious to get some filings done and he made me feel very comfortable and kept checking on me throughout. It’s super clear his patients and their well-being are really important to him. His staff is extremely friendly and the overall environment is welcoming and helps to put you at ease. I can’t recommend Dr. Kupetz and his staff enough!

I cannot say enough amazing things about this office! My husband is absolutely terrified of the dentist and had been putting off getting a tooth pulled for far too long because of his anxiety. From the moment we walked in, the entire staff was kind, patient, and so understanding of how nervous he was.
Dr Scott Kupetz took the time to explain everything step by step, reassured him throughout the procedure, and made sure he was comfortable the entire time. The tooth extraction was quick, smooth, and honestly so much easier than we ever expected. My husband walked out saying, “That wasn’t bad at all!” — which is HUGE coming from him!
If you or someone you love struggles with dental anxiety, this is absolutely the place to go. Professional, compassionate, and truly phenomenal care. We are so grateful!

Dr. Scott is an outstanding dentist who truly goes above and beyond. From the moment I walked in, he made me feel comfortable, informed, and confident in the care I was receiving. His attention to detail and skill is exceptional, and the results speak for themselves—my teeth look and feel amazing. He takes the time to explain everything clearly and genuinely cares about his patients’ comfort and satisfaction. I couldn’t be happier with the work he did and would highly recommend Dr. Scott to anyone looking for a top-notch dentist.
The friendly demeanor of the dentist and staff does not make up for the serious and unacceptable problems I experienced at this office. I was overcharged, and my insurance was submitted claims for procedures that were never performed, which raises serious ethical and billing concerns.
After a crown was placed in March 2025, my regular dentist later found excess cement left directly on my gum line—a basic and preventable error. My dentist was extremely disturbed by this and stated it could have caused damage to my gums. Leaving cement behind reflects a clear lack of attention to standard dental care and patient safety.
To make matters worse, the crown fell off while I was eating (unfortunately it was swallowed), yet I was told I would need to pay out of pocket for a completely new crown, despite the original being placed only months earlier. Refusing to stand behind recent work while shifting the financial burden onto the patient is unprofessional and unacceptable.
Between the billing irregularities, substandard workmanship, and lack of accountability, I strongly advise others to avoid this office altogether. If you do choose to go here, verify every charge, closely monitor what is submitted to your insurance, and be prepared to seek corrective care elsewhere.

This patient called the emergency service and I called her back with 3 minutes at 730AM. She stated that her crown came out and she swallowed last night. I made her an appointment for today the same day she called at 2pm. She stated she was not going to pay again because she paid in March 2025 which was 10 months ago. I told her I would speak with the Dr. and call her back. I called her back and told her that there would be a charge and before I could complete my sentence which was going to include a discount of 50%. she stated yelling that she is going to her regular dentist and to cancel the appointment and then started using the F work. I don't tolerate being verbal abused. She never complained about the crown which was cemented 10 months prior and she never called regarding the bill or insurance. We do not take insurance we are a private practice. I do submit insurance for our patients for reimbursement. We take pride in our work and send all documents and x-rays to insurance company's. If she felt that something was not right why didn't she call?!? Again we were willing to get her in asap. I can't not comprehend why or tolerate someone spreading lies especially regarding billing and insurance. This was 100% false.
found dr. kupetz on google while i was lying in bed in terrible shape, and i’m so lucky i did. dr. kupetz and his assistant, renee, are truly godsends. i had a dental emergency that included fevers and chills on a weekend. not only did he call me back straight away, he was kind enough to take me on a sunday afternoon. from the moment i walked into the office, where renee greeted me, i felt taken care of and reassured. and dr. kupetz himself was so kind and thorough and took his time to explain exactly what he was doing and to make sure i was comfortable and calm. the relief was immediate. could not recommend this dream team enough. truly grateful!!!
Where have Dr. Scott, Renee and Kathy been the last 4.5 years I’ve been in Dutchess County? My word for them and who they are is “human.” There is literally no one better.
Dr. Scott called me back after I had a weekend emergency and fit me in right away. In fact, he would have seen me sooner but I had my grandmother’s 90th birthday brunch and I wasn’t able.
Immediately upon walking in, Kathy knew who I was. I didn’t even have to announce myself. She was bright, pleasant, and made me feel right at home. Soon, I met Renee. Renee, what can I say- a breath of fresh air. Beyond patient, kind and gentle. I felt safe with her. In comes Dr. Scott with a smile that makes you actually want to be at the dentist so you can have that smile too. I can tell you that I’m a horrible patient, but you wouldn’t believe it. But I’m a TERRIFIED and horrible patient. Dr. Scott and Renee were as patient as a grandparent with their first born grandchild. I never once felt rushed or like a burden. Instead, I felt seen, heard, and safe. So much so, they even told me I was doing great when I knew I wasn’t. Dr. Scott made sure I was aware of everything that was happening. There were no surprises.
They took their time and stayed with me the entire time. He wasn’t leaving the room bouncing back and forth. They literally care about the patient in front of them and that is something that is rare. He still remembers why he became a dentist. And I left with no more pain!
