We arrived at the clinic as an emergency because my dog ​​was having eye problems. He was examined by the ophthalmologist, and things seem to be better now. The entire staff was friendly, and Dr. James Bryan was wonderful. Thank you, Rita❤️🐾❤️

Our white Boxer had to go to hospital today. We were told the bad news about her health and that she would not be coming home. The nurses and vets at SASH at Tuggerah were wonderful and caring. Freyja had an appetite for food from the beginning and they came in with all the prohibited treats at the end. Don't know if there's any biscuits left in the tea room but Freyja loved them and said thank you. Many thanks to the caring and professional staff at this wonderful facility.

We cannot speak highly enough of Dr Tan and the entire SASH team. Poppy receives her care through SASH, and we travel two hours each way because we genuinely wouldn't trust her care to anyone else. That alone says everything about the level of confidence and trust we have in this team. What makes SASH so special to us is that every decision is made with the utmost care, thought and consideration for Poppy as an individual. We have never felt that decisions are rushed or that the easiest option, or even the most drastic or final option, is automatically the answer. Instead, we feel that every avenue is carefully considered, every concern is taken seriously, and Poppy's individual needs, quality of life and best interests remain at the centre of every discussion. Dr Tan is truly exceptional. He is kind, compassionate, incredibly passionate and more knowledgeable than words can express. He has a way of explaining complex medical information and treatment options that leaves us feeling informed, reassured and genuinely involved in decisions about Poppy's care. We never feel silly for asking questions, and we never feel rushed through appointments. His willingness to explore options, explain the reasoning behind recommendations and approach Poppy's care with such thoughtfulness means more to us than he probably realises. When you have a French Bulldog, navigating complex health concerns can be overwhelming, and finding a veterinary team you can genuinely trust is invaluable. Having a vet who understands the complexities involved, recognises the importance of looking at the bigger picture and approaches each decision with such care gives us a level of confidence and peace of mind that is difficult to put into words. It isn't just Dr Tan, either. Every member of the SASH team, from the veterinary and nursing staff through to the administration team, has always been an absolute pleasure to deal with. Everyone is welcoming, professional, compassionate and understanding. You can feel that the care extends beyond the consultation room, and that the people looking after your pet genuinely care about both the animals and the families who love them. We never feel like Poppy is just another patient, and we never feel like we are navigating her health journey alone. We feel heard, respected and supported, even when the answers aren't straightforward or the decisions are difficult. Two hours of travel each way is a small price to pay for the peace of mind that comes from knowing Poppy is in hands we trust. We will always choose SASH because of the people, the expertise, the compassion and the standard of care they consistently provide. More importantly, we will choose them because we know that Poppy's wellbeing will always come first. We are incredibly grateful to Dr Tan and every single person at SASH who has been part of Poppy's care. You have earned our trust, our appreciation and our loyalty, and we honestly cannot thank you enough for everything you do for her.

I'm extremely grateful that we have such a brilliant Emergency Veterinary facility here in the Coast. SASH treated my dog without delay after eating some mould. The staff acted with the utmost care and professionalism. They knew exactly what to do and my 7 year old Springer Spaniel bounced back the next morning. The staff gave in to her pestering for company and let her sit with them before I could pick her up. Thanks to all who looked after Poppy.

The team at SASH and my experience with the clinic could not have been better. My dog was bitten by a tick and suffered paralysis. She was seen to right away and was admitted. The team took such good care of her, and kept me up to date with regular updates and even a photo. I was able to pick her up before earlier as she had recovered enough to go home. They turned a really stressful situation into a great outcome. If you need urgent care, don’t hesitate to get to SASH!
