I had a fantastic time on the Columbia River with captain Jared today fishing for salmon. he has a great boat, the right equipment, and all the knowledge to get fish in the boat. He has a really easy attitude and made the day a pleasure for everyone. If you're looking for a great guide in the Astoria area he's the man to call.

We had such a wonderful experience with the guide and we caught SO MUCH FISH. He was incredibly helpful in teaching us as well as good at starting conversations and overall just being friendly! He did all the leg work and let us just relax and enjoy the trip! He took us all over the Columbia and never once complained we weren’t catching fish just kept trying until he found a better spot for us! Would 10/10 recommend booking him if you’re looking for big fish and a great time!

Salmon fishing Astoria I had the best experience with this guide! He was very patient and helpful even when mistakes were made on the boat and did everything he could to help us catch fish but also was so respectful of wild regulations and even helped ensure that he was safe from a seal before releasing the wild fish. A very respectful gentleman and very knowledgeable and talented!

I’ve been out twice with Jerad. Once for salmon and once for sturgeon. Very professional and knowledgeable. You’ll catch fish but more importantly you’ll have a great trip! I live out here but wasn’t having consistent success. I let him know my goal was to improve my salmon fishing. He spent both trips sharing his knowledge. I’ve significantly increased my success, especially on those hard-to-fish days and feel much more confident. Highly recommend!

Absolute blast! Great time on the water, salmon fishing in the ocean tagged out within 3 hours in a group of 6. Would highly recommend and book again. Jerad was knowledgeable and a great guide. Can't wait for the next trip.

Well to start our guide Jerad was knowledgeable! Second this was the first time my friend had fished anywhere but Texas. We enjoyed our adventure so much we are coming back for coho and crab this fall. Sadie was the best boat dog ever!!! Fish on.... Jayne and Anita!!!

Jerad is the man! Went for a day of sturgeon fishing on the Columbia. Unfortunately, the sturgeon did not cooperate and weren’t where they were supposed to be. BUT, Jerad truly worked his ass off trying to get me on one! I still had a great time on the river and I got a bit of a tour. Would book again.

I had an amazing bottom fishing trip out of Astoria and could not recommend this guide service more. From start to finish, everything was professional, organized, and fun. The captain was extremely knowledgeable about the local waters, tides, and where to find fish, and he worked hard all day and spend extra time to make sure we had a great experience and got the fish we wanted.

Friendly captain who knows what he is doing. I felt safe on the boat and we caught our limit by 9am then went for a fun little tour and saw really cool wildlife. Treated the fish proper and we got them sent home np.
