This place saved my life anyone that’s looking to seek the help they need not only their addiction but their mental help Radix’s is the place. The staff there is wonderful they truly care for you ass the person you are there is magic that happens in those walls! I came in scared broken and lost I walked out a whole brand new woman and I can honestly say it was the best decision I have ever made the impact not only their staff but my peers. It was amazing how I came in and everyone cared and a had shoulder to lean on to turn around to be one of those people to say the day I walked out to be told I was an inspiration to them and someone they counted really warmed my heart and I have to give props to radix and their staff. I will highly recommend this place to anyone that is willing ready to change their life around physically and mentally the tools I was provided I know and feel comfortable to walk out the door knowing I can utilize those tools to keep striving and to love and just not survive. My family and friends love they got not only the old me but a better me something better then before. Thank you so much Radix for changing my life and helping become the woman I needed to be for not only me but for my kids and family. You guys will be an amazing chapter in my life I can look back on and remember why I made the decision to come there and when I start writing my book you guys will be a beautiful chapter in that as well. My sobriety and mental health is amazing and I can say “WE DO RECOVER” mad props to radix and I can’t thank you enough for starting my new journey in life.

Oh, Radix... how I want to rave about you. You've got a great facility and amazing amenities, and excursions... that part is unmatched. BUT...after discharging, they no longer cared at all. I reached out at separate times for myself and my boyfriend who were in crisis and realized my phone number was BLOCKED!! In no way, shape, or form was I unkind or unruly... they just obviously didn't want to talk to me anymore. I understand not being able to return for an allotted amount of time... but to block someone when they're in crisis is so wrong on so many levels. (And yes I got through to someone who confirmed my number was blocked 😞) I wish they would do better because they could have been great. And on a side note, 2 patients I was there with passed away within a month (maybe less) of leaving. While one most likely had nothing to do with them, the other was kicked out because of allegations that were not investigated at all. Then said patient, who had nowhere to go, ended up drinking themself to death. And 2 of the most caring, compassionate employees were fired during this time as well. They were the best thing about this place. And Shannon, in admissions... she's great. And Hector, the counselor... amazing. But the higher up staff (who pretend to care) obviously don't as soon as you're out the door and not feeding their pockets anymore. It's really sad. I pray they'll do better for the patients they "care" for.
The building and amenities are great, but that's not what sets this place apart. The people, through and through, in addition to the reasoning behind how and why they operate, are genuine and not just monetarily driven. I had gotten sober for a while before, but needed more help learning how to live life, and this place helped. Bonuses: you get your cell phone, and after 30 days can leave the building, depending on your progress, without staff to start adjusting to the world.

My time at Radix from July 20th 2026 - September 20th 2026 was above and beyond. I was hesitant at first like most, but I felt at home within 24 hours. The Radix environment is truly magical with àn amazing staff and residents. Very friendly environment day in and day out. They accommodations at the facility compare to a five star retreat and is state of they art. I would not take away a single day with my time spent at Radix, I would recommend it to anyone in need of treatment of addiction or rehabilitation. They are the future.

Radix is an amazing and life changing treatment center. Shannon was very courteous and helpful with the admission process. She walked me through the steps I needed to take in order to get into the program. Thank you Radix for helping me find myself again. I would recommend Radix Recovery to anyone who is struggling with addiction and is seeking help.

I called Radix for general information about the safety of a client of theirs without providing the clients name or providing my name. This said client is my abuser. The person whom answered the phone told someone that I called in which someone put 2 and 2 together and told their client that I called. So in retaliation my abuser texted me threats. When I called Radix to report the issue I was confronted with hang up calls 3 different times when while speaking. I was called back by the woman who claimed to have answered the phone that day I called, in which she identified herself as the manager! She as well hung up on me when I stated that I would like to speak to her higher ups because she let out my person business to my abuser. I have continued to call back over five times now and have been met with no answer now!

Radix is wonderful recovery center. They not only focus on your addiction, they focus on mental health as well. The resident community really makes it feel like family that understands what you’re going through because they are also going through the same process. The staff are all amazing!

Amy was terrible at explaining how the system worked, it may have made sense to her but made no sense to me and did very poorly in helping me feel like I was in good hands with my addiction problem. I intend to call back in the morning when she is gone to seek further assistance.

I came to Radix Recovery feeling completely defeated and convinced I would never be able to stop drinking. From the moment I arrived at Radix in Cedar Rapids, I felt welcomed and supported by staff who genuinely cared about my recovery and well-being.
One of my favorite parts of treatment was how much they focused on healing the whole person. I loved spending time in the garden, participating in cooking classes, practicing yoga in the beautiful yoga room, and challenging myself with the cold plunges. These activities helped me reconnect with myself and discover healthy ways to manage stress and emotions without alcohol.
The facility itself is absolutely beautiful—everything is brand new, clean, comfortable, and designed to support recovery. It never felt institutional; it felt like a place where I could truly focus on getting better.
Most importantly, Radix gave me the tools, support, and confidence I needed to finally quit drinking. For the first time in years, I have hope for my future and a life I am proud of. I am incredibly grateful for my experience at Radix and would recommend it to anyone struggling with addiction.
