Stayed here a week in the end of April with my mother for a thermal treatment program. Mixed feelings overall.
What I liked: The pools are open until 11pm, so you can swim after dinner before bed when it's almost empty. That was great. The spa itself is decent. Service in the restaurant at lunch and dinner was good, and the desserts were really tasty.
What let me down: Breakfast. If you wanted eggs Benedict or avocado toast, you had to pay 15 to 20 euros extra for it. The fruit selection was small and some of it wasn't ripe. For a hotel at this level that felt off.
The spa staff. On the first day the doctor's exam and program setup were rushed, like they were in a hurry, and then they sent us straight to the mud treatments without really explaining where to go or who to see. I had to walk around and look for the staff member across all the cabins. The mud application and massages were careless, done without any real attention, just get it over with and move on. Neither my mother nor I enjoyed the massages. The treatment schedule they put together was very inconvenient. There are plenty of cabins, but it seems like they're short on staff.
The room. The view was onto a service area, bins and technical facilities, not pretty, though it was relatively quiet. On the last few days they switched off the towel warmer, so there was nowhere to dry our swimsuits. They don't bring water to the room for free either, you pay for everything.
The restaurant. The menu was often badly translated into Russian, which caused confusion, and a few times I got something completely different from what I ordered. Some of the dishes weren't good.
Renovation. Part of the grounds was closed off for construction work during our stay.
Data security. This one deserves its own mention. My personal details (name, dates, booking number, amount paid) ended up in the hands of scammers who sent me a phishing link pretending to be the hotel. I never got an apology or a proper explanation, just canned replies. Had I entered my card details, I was basically told it would have been my own problem.
Bottom line: for this price and a 5*L rating you expect a different level of care for the guest. The treatment side and the way the spa staff treated people were the biggest disappointments.

Exceptional hospitality from start to finish
My partner and I recently visited the spa at the Abano Grand Hotel and had a wonderful experience from start to finish. The Spa Reception team welcomed us warmly and made us feel comfortable immediately. They were extremely attentive, took the time to understand our needs, and recommended the treatments that were most suitable for us. Their professionalism and kindness truly enhanced our experience. We chose to enjoy our treatments in the couples’ cabin, which was absolutely wonderful. The atmosphere was relaxing, elegant, and perfect for spending quality time together. The treatments themselves were excellent, and we left feeling completely refreshed and relaxed. We highly recommend this hotel and this spa to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable wellness experience. We will definitely be back!

Magnifico weekend del 1 maggio
Bellissimo soggiorno con mia figlia per il ponte del 1° maggio! Questo hotel ha un fascino d'altri tempi davvero unico. La camera era super confortevole e il balcone offriva una vista meravigliosa sui colli. Abbiamo scelto la pensione completa e la cucina ci ha convinte al 100%: piatti ottimi (sempre con alternative di carne, pesce e vegetariane) e un buffet ricchissimo. Il servizio al ristorante è stato semplicemente eccellente. Un grazie di cuore a tutto lo staff, sempre attento e premuroso verso ogni nostra esigenza. Speriamo davvero di tornare presto!
Camere spaziose pulite e materasso e cuscini confortevoli. Cena con ampia scelta implementata da un buffet ricchissimo . Il personale gentile professionale dalla reception alla sala ristorazione e colazione...la posizione strategica adiacente al centro.... una bella esperienza che suggerisco ...

Scusate il Ritardo, ma ci tenevo a complimentarmi con tutto lo Staff del Grand Hotel Abano Terme, dalla Reception, al Maitre Manlio, al Simpatico Cameriere Francesco, ad un Organizzazione Impeccabile x il mio Compleanno con Mega Palloncini e Torta Fantastica, Ottimo dalla Colazione al Pranzo.. e un Plauso va anche alla Zona delle Cure Termali, sia ad Anastasia ma soprattutto a Sara spiegandomi e consigliandomi come comportarmi per la mia patologia fortunatamente curabile. Piscine Termali Fantastiche, passi dall'interno all'esterno con getti d'acqua di qualunque tipo. Sono rimasto veramente Soddisfatto, 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟L

bonjour, nous avons passé 5 nuits dans ce magnifique hôtel et nous avons adoré ! La chambre était immense, la salle de bain avec douche et baignoire- juste dommage que les toilettes ne sont pas séparées. Nous étions en demi-pension, et nous avons très bien mangé, que ce soit le petit déj ou les repas. Nous avons beaucoup aimé les enveloppements de boue et les massages qui nous ont fait beaucoup de bien ! Mention spéciale à tout le personnel de l'hôtel vraiment aux petits soins ! Je recommande vivement cet établissement et nous ne manquerons pas de revenir !
