I really enjoy coming to play at this club. The garage door WILL heat you up during daytime play - feels like you’re in a microwave -but have no fear, winter is coming!! ❤️ all of the staff is super nice and helpful. Facilities are clean. Love the 24 hour building. Always a good time at kingdom

I had a very disappointing experience with Pickleball Kingdom when trying to cancel my membership. I went to the club in person specifically to cancel and was told I could not do it there. I was instructed to send an email because the cancellation had to be submitted in writing. I followed those instructions exactly. After two additional billing cycles, I still had to return to the club and speak with someone at the front desk. And here’s the frustrating part: the employee at the register was able to cancel my membership immediately. So apparently, it could have been cancelled in person all along. Why send a customer away, require an email, and then allow the membership to be cancelled on the spot when they come back? That unnecessary back-and-forth resulted in additional billing and turned a simple cancellation into a frustrating ordeal. When I explained how frustrating the experience had been, the response I received was: “Well, we live in a not so perfect world. It’s cancelled.” That response pretty much summed up the customer service experience. I’m not upset that there was a cancellation policy. I’m upset that I followed the instructions I was given, yet still had to make another trip to the club and deal with additional billing when the membership could apparently have been cancelled during my original visit. A cancellation should not be this difficult. And when a customer takes the time to explain a legitimate frustration, “It’s cancelled” is not exactly the kind of customer service response that leaves someone feeling valued. The membership is cancelled. I just wish the process had been handled with the same level of professionalism as the membership sales process.

Great courts, friendly people. I play in the tournaments they host here, and have had nothing but good experiences. The courts are clean and well maintained, and the AC works well to keep the temps manageable. Plenty of parking as well.

We thoroughly enjoyed a free Intro to Pickleball class with Jared, the owner. The session was highly engaging, informative, and fun. Jared explained the rules and scoring clearly, taught the basics, and adjusted his coaching depending on the skill levels of those in the class. We had the opportunity to practice dinks, mid-field hits, serving, and a bit of play. We are only in town for six weeks, so the pay-as-you-go is better for us, but if we were locals there is great value in becoming a member. If you’re thinking about starting pickleball, this is a great place to start!

What a great facility for fun with friends & family! The Austin Area Sigma Nu Alumni Club thoroughly enjoyed having our September Social at Pickleball Kingdom with brothers from many different chapters all coming together in Austin. For planning and amenities, Jared has thought of everything without overkill (even a podium for the tourney victors!), is super responsive and accomodating, and the layout is simple, clean and easy to utilize - loved the indoor courts, and the second level for the foosball, air hockey, and the golf simulator space with couches for the whole crew! Definitely book the private room as a base of operations with views through all the courts, TV screens, and plenty of comfy sleek chairs and tables of various sizes for snacks, hanging out, chatting, etc., and its own fridge for BYOB drinks and such. Easy access to the drink cooler up front too! Looking forward to booking this spot again! Best pickleball space in the Austin area if you ask me.

Very weird experience with the staff/owner of this place. I booked a free trial to check out this place and unfortunately could not make it due to personal reasons. They were salty about this and complained about “not being able to rent out the court to someone else and telling me that they’re not being “generous” by giving these trial sessions. Not sure why they’re acting like this to a random stranger.

To respond: This customer responded to an ad where we offer a FREE court for customers interested in a test drive of our facility. Anyway, we booked them a FREE private court during peak time. The customer cancelled within 20 minutes of the reservation. Every other court we had was already booked so we would have rented this court out. Since the customer did not pay anything for it, there was no cancellation fee but if there was a payment there would have been a cancellation fee. Anyway this customer has not been to my place, has not checked out Pickleball Kingdom, and left a one-star review. Our marketing department could have been a little bit kinder, but we are not at fault here.

By The way, look at Vinay and all of the reviews he has done. Sadly, Vinay has left many, many 1 and 2 star reviews for small businesses. Just consider that when you consider his review for Pickleball Kingdom.
