Oso Beach Municipal Golf Course Reviews

Mark Gilbreath 2026.10.16

The course is in great condition! Really enjoy playing it. Staff is very friendly and helpful. My only request is that twosomes be grouped with other twosomes to make a foursome so that the pace of play is better. The twosome was pushing behind us and ahead of us was a twosome that they should have been matched with.

We’re glad you enjoyed the course conditions and that our team made you feel well taken care of. We also appreciate the note about pairing twosomes to help pace of play, and we’ll review our tee sheet and starter process to improve that experience.

3 golfers from 3 very different states and we all agreed this was a great experience! Green fees are more than fair. Best part was the staff... Very friendly and accommodating from check-in to marshals. The condition of the course is exceptional, despite some small areas of standing water. Every green challenging, fun and rolled better than most snooty clubs. They've done a super job putting this all together. Highly recommend.

The staff was great. The course was fun and well laid out. Open fairways give you plenty of room for less than perfect hits. The greens were in perfect condition and challenging.

Ben Rehm 2026.09.06

Course was in great condition. Greens were challenging. Played in a threesome of single digit handicappers, had a foursome (likely 20+ handicappers from the looks of it) ahead of us that turned it into a 5 hour round (understandable, it’s a Saturday morning during Labor Day weekend). What’s not understandable is the marshall came up to us and (in a rude manner) told us to hurry things up even though we were a shot behind the group ahead of us the full 5 hours. Heard there are better courses in the area, will be taking my business to them in the future instead.

Course is fantastic shape. Best greens Ive seen so far and I played in Virginia, which is like the major league of golf courses. Just moved back to Texas and am TDY here in Corpus so treated myself to a well deserved break. Great help in the pro shop, pace of play was good and the course was awesome. Can't wait to come back. 5 stars
