OPTIMAL HOME IMPROVEMENT INC Reviews

Emily 2026.10.25

Phenomenal crew - arrived on time, worked quickly yet carefully, and went above and beyond to make sure all of our gutter installation needs were met. Our home has a unique/complex grading and slabs but they still found ways to divert all the water spouts away from our home (see photo example). I also learned that they only buy from high quality and reliable sources for their materials. Our gutters look so good - they elevated the exterior of our home in a way I didn’t even expect. We have piece of mind now that our new larger gutters + guards can withstand the latest onslaught of flash flood level rains - so important for preventing water intrusion. Based on my positive experience with the gutters installation, I’d be happy to call them for roof work too whenever that is needed. Thanks again!

When I was contacted by Dylan, one of the sales reps about a free roof inspection, I thought it would be fine. I checked online for reviews and see they have a 5 star rating made me wonder. It didn't take me long to figure out that there was everything right about how this company does business. It took months with them being my advocate with my homeowners insurance company proving there was storm damage and it was significant enough to need a roof replacement. It took almost three days to complete the job. They had to delay in the middle for weather, but they knew how to button things up tight to protect the roof for the rain delay. After each day they spent a considerable amount of time CLEANING up. They treated me and my property with great respect. And boy, what a great job. They handle this major task with great skill and effort! New shingles, skylight replacements, roof vents, gutters and downspouts. The quality of materials and workmanship was outstanding! So, I have joined the 5 star review club because I haven't a single complaint about anything! I thank God for the connection with Dylan, because it has been such a positive experience. I tell the truth in reviews and when I am not happy with results I will say so, because people deserve the truth. And when I am fortunate enough to find a company that does an excellent job, I want everyone to know. I placed my trust in Optimal Home Improvement and I was NOT disappointed. I wish to thank the entire crew for a job well done. If you need their services I am confident they will treat you with courtesy and respect throughout the entire process.

I couldn’t be happier with the professional job and experience I had with Optimal Home Improvement. Working with Josh was a pleasure, he inspected my roof and found hail damage and made sure the insurance company claim adjuster covered both my garage and house. When the new roof was put on the work was done in a timely manner and looks great. They did a fantastic job of covering all my landscaping and making sure to clean everything up when completed. I highly recommend this company.

Had hail damage to roof, siding and gutters. They worked hand in hand with State Farm to get everything approved. Process went smoothly. Timely installation. Work was done professionaly. They also installed great quality products. Not cheaper builder grade stuff. A special shoutout to Craig the consultant i worked with. Highly recommend

We were referred to Craig by a friend who, at the time, was newly employed by Optimal. Craig has been in the industry for a while and raved about the company and their standards. Though we have had our fair share of terrible contractors, I can confidently say you’re getting quality and expertise with not only Optimal Home Improvement, but with Craig, as well. He is very thorough, came out several times to answer questions and go over things, answered every text and call promptly and delivered quality work. Our install was pushed off several months due to weather and Craig was responsive the entire time. On the day of install, Wojtek and his crew showed up early, moved around our patio furniture and had the job done quickly. Not a nail or single piece of debris left in my yard AND they moved everything back into place. Truly impressive. It’s been a long process but definitely worth the wait. Thank you for your hard work and most importantly thank you Craig for your dedication and attention to detail.

This was for our roof. I found the family owned company https://optimalhomeimprovement.com/ after a deep search and checked them out head to toe. I needed someone who was going to be on my side working with my homeowners insurance to get everything needed for the entire scope and do the repairs. Next they will be the contractor on the interior damage repair that was caused by the winds, hail back to the fall of last year, etc. About 25% of a bedroom roof fell in. Call Optimal's Wojtek at 630-988-0029‬ and Craig Sassamon at 708-724-8098. Optimal is EXCELLENT!

We met with Roman the sales rep who explained everything about the new gutters and gutter guards. Later in the evening we received the estimate by email and were very happy with the price. The crew of 3 arrived to our house in West Dundee early the following Monday on time (actually a bit early) and were finished in 2.5 hours or less. The crew was pleasant and did a great job of installing. Took everything away and scanned the perimeter of the house with a magnetic tool to pick up any screws or metal remaining. It feels so good to work with a company who doesn't scam you and shows up on time and cleans everything up afterwards. Roman came to our house the next day and inspected the work on the roof and around the house. I would recommend Optimal Home Improvement if you need new gutters. Very nice honest people and sell good products.
