This piece was exactly as described and the perfect replacement part for IC 40 salt generator went with the IC 60 because it hopefully will not have to work as hard and last longer. Pretty quick delivery service You’re welcome. Very easy directions to follow and is working great so far two days
I had to replace my old Pentair Ichlor 30 and they had the best price for the recommended replacement. I ordered the new unit on a Friday and it was received the following Monday. However, the box had been opened and someone had written on the instruction booklet, and then tried to erase it, that they tried to install the unit but it was defective. After an email and a call to the company, I was told that they had run out of new units and someone had sent a returned unit by mistake. They sent a return label and removed the charge from my credit card when they received it. I purchased another unit from a local pool company instead.
DEEPLY DISAPPOINTED
Bought a new Pentair Plus 30 salt cell for $1100+
It worked great—until it didn’t. Died after just six weeks. Golden Pool told me that because I didn’t hire a “pool professional” to install it—they won’t help.
That’s weird because the salt cell is literally described as a “drop-in” replacement for the old Pentair model. Installing the salt cell by yourself is what people do every time they clean it.
Turns out that the new Pentair salt cells are identified on-line as very problematic. They’ve got known issues.
The lack of help from Golden Pools is really disappointing. Will not be doing business with them again.

We have never spoken to you in any other way, nor is it true that you must have the Pentair units installed by a certified professional, although this does help in terms of warranty, since, as you know, it is conditional and they handle it independently of our company. Best prices by far. Service was lackluster simply because I received no communication after placing the initial order. I'm accustomed to receiving shipping updates, etc. This made me very nervous, wondering if NewGoldenPool was even a legitimate company. In the end, I received the order in a timely manner and am completely satisfied with the final results.

Pricing is fair and shipping quick. However, communication is nonexistent. When calling customer service all you get is voicemail. Messages are not returned.

I ordered a part that cost 1500.00. It has been over two weeks and the part has not arrived. (they say between 3-7 days). I have repeatedly asked for a tracking number for the shipment and have not gotten a response. The phone number listed goes right to voicemail and calls are never returned. There is no customer service. I would completely avoid this company.I have no other choice now than to have my credit card company cancel the charge.

Responded quickly to a question I had on a specific part, I was able to order the part early that morning and it was delivered the next day via UPS. Pool was down for less than 24 hours thanks to their quick customer service
