I contacted this company as I wanted to under go Rhinoplasty. I was contacted by Meltem who provided me with several links to ‘patient stories’ and information on their surgeons. I initially agreed to the price provided and booked and paid my deposit. After then taking a bit more time to read reviews of the clinic and hospital I decided I was no longer confident in this firm due to their lack of transparency amongst a score of poor reviews.
I advised Meltem I no longer wished to proceed and initially she was understanding and advised my deposit would be refunded and that it may take some time. I am however now being told that deposits are non refundable despite both Turkish and UK consumer law stipulating a 14 day cooling off period for purchases made remotely. In addition I have emailed the finance team and head office on multiple occasions and I have been completely ignored. Unfortunately , this appears to be a reflection of how this company operate and I would urge anyone considering surgery in Turkey to look elsewhere at reputable and honest companies who operate within the law.

Amazing surgeon, awful coordinators and overall experience!
I have to say a massive thank you to my surgeon doctor Zafer, his assistant and the team of nurses at Medaway who are absolutely amazing, my surgery was a success and my results are everything I wished for. Sefa is also brilliant, very grateful to him for his care and kindness. Lastly my massage lady was also amazing. This would be a 5 star review if these were the only people I experienced. The below review does not apply to these people named above.
The 1 star review is solely due to the team that organise things. The prices on their official website are one thing, but when you actually approach them they tell you a higher price and show no regard for the false advertising and are quite rude about it even thought this is actually their error.
One of the coordinators spoke about me in Turkish in front of me, obvious because they were helping to close my breast garment and said ‘implant’ in English in the middle of a sentence in Turkish while looking at my breast (I did not get implants). Whether negative or positive it made me feel uncomfortable and was unprofessional. After paying for private transfers (thinking we would have discretion), 1 day post-op we shared a transfer with 2 strangers, meaning we had to kneel down for the 40 minute car journey. Our procedure required us to spread out for comfort, the pain did not allow us to sit upright and when we addressed this after enduring the discomfort without complaint, they said ‘we tried to help you to sit down but you preferred to kneel down’. Who would choose to kneel down on a car floor unless it was the only option? We are people, the lack of care was disgusting. Sitting upright following the procedures we had with the uneven roads in Istanbul caused extreme pain when we tried to sit how they suggested just to save money and squeeze strangers into ‘private transfers’ together. My transfers at times were also 30 minutes late while I waited outside (in pain) with no communication to say they were running late, no apologies, nothing. No accountability whatsoever.
Less than 24hours post op, Sezer Aras from the WhatsApp group began harassing me to pay £75 for a private transfer back to the airport although I sent my flight date and time 2 months prior! This type of stress is the last thing a patient needs in the first 24hours of their healing period. I also met a lady whose money had been stolen from her purse (a large amount of cash) while she was under anaesthesia!!! This is my 3rd and last surgery with Medaway and I’m so disappointed with my overall Medaway experience this time around, other than my amazing surgeon, his assistant, the lovely nurses, the post op masseuse, the transfer drivers and Sefa. I am now 3 months post op and the coordinators haven’t reached out once, only my surgeon and his lovely assistant. I absolutely recommend dr Zafer 100%, however due to the conduct of the coordinators I will no longer be recommending Medaway to any friends or family and I hope they can improve their services in the future.

Being a Turkish dual nationality is making me feel such a shame because of people like this.
So I have decided to have a lipo 360 and tummy tuck - thankfully i have not gone ahead.
They have kept changing prices - from 9k dropped to 3.5gb. Just before i found out i have a virul infection that can spread ( i was charged 9500.00gb ) for this crap reason which is a lie.
Once i complained they came back with a price of 4500.00gb.
They have played with my mental health and all they want is money.
Their surgeons are disgusted.

The amount of photos ive seen over the last few months of botched surgeries is incredibly sad. These get removed very quickly as it's bad for their business! How Trustpilot and google allow the fake reviews to be listed and the real reviews with unhappy customers to be removed is shocking.
Companies like this are disgusting.

This company is a scam.
They remove all bad reviews!!
Trustpilot keep issuing warnings that they pay for reviews and reviews are fake.
Be very careful!
I regularly see this companies bad reviews removed.
I paid for a hair transplant and then started seeing all the bad reviews. I told them I was unable to make it and that id like my deposit back as it was 2 months away from going ahead.
I paid for my own flight, hotel and transfers. They tried saying they had paid for a hotel and transfer so they were unable to refund me. I showed them that I had actually paid for that all privately.
They then told me that they were unable to issue a refund as It was non refundable.
I got my contract up, circled the part where it states the money is non refundable if cancelled within 30 days of procedure.
They have promised a refund for 6 months and still nothing.
Every week when I contact them they say their finance department is in the process of refunding it.
They constantly take down my poor reviews! Along with all other 1 star reviews.
The surgeries I see photos of are sooo upsetting. These poor people....
Every person speaks about one doctor who walks from room to room instructing students or teenagers to carry out the surgery.
You will get hit with additional bills when you arrive.
It is very unsanitary in the building with cats roaming the halls.
They will continually lie to you, fill you with false promises and you'll be left devastated. Do not believe any of these 5 star reviews. They are fake!!!!

MONEY GRABBERS!!! IF I COULD LEAVE ZERO STARS I WOULD!
I went to MedAway for a “mommy makeover” which included liposuction, tummy tuck, bbl and breast augmentation. Having paid a large deposit, I was told to take cash for the remainder but as I was travelling alone, I didn’t feel comfortable doing this so I transferred it just prior to my trip.
When I met my consultant, he informed me that I have anaemia (news to me despite recent blood tests) and that the risks were too high to do anything but the breast augmentation. Obviously disappointed, I agreed to having just this procedure and understood his concerns. I did, however, ask prior to my surgery for my refund to be processed before I flew home and signed paperwork to that effect.
Despite the results of my breast augmentation being positive, my feeling about this clinic is very negative. Unprofessionalism is rife here and they all pass the buck to avoid having to deal with concerns and complaints.
I asked many times for my refund whilst there however, having been back in the UK now for 3 days, still nothing! It’s been 8 days since my surgery and despite them taking my money immediately it was transferred, the same cannot be said for the return of the money that I am owed. This has caused me a serious, financial problem which I have explained to them and still nothing.
I did read some reviews prior to selecting MedAway however, I hadn’t read these reviews and now wish I had because I would have chosen a more professional and reputable clinic.
Word of advice, DO NOT CHOOSE MEDAWAY and do your research very carefully.

I don't blame them, because it was the same for me,I didn't believe.
I had an traumatic experience with this butchers, they took my money for liposuction and tights lift,after a year, I don't see differences between before and after my operation. Besides, I couldn't walk or work 6 months after, I've spent a lot of time in hospitals.
Now I've got all the records from doctors, I'll take them to the court. Wake up people, don't go there anymore, they are butchers

This experience was in turkey, the london branch is non existent.
I am writing this review to warn everyone about the nightmare I experienced with Medaway. I was scheduled for rhinoplasty, but from the very beginning, it was clear that this company is completely unprofessional, unethical, and dangerous. As a minor who is 16, I put my trust in Medaway, but they failed me in every way imaginable.
When we first arrived, we were introduced to a man named Sefa Altug. Right away, I noticed that Sefa did not measure my weight or height, even though I was scheduled to undergo general anesthesia. This is an extremely dangerous oversight since the dosage of anesthesia needs to be carefully calculated based on a patient's weight and height. Administering too much anesthesia can be fatal, yet Sefa seemed completely unconcerned. This lack of basic medical protocol was not only alarming but also incredibly reckless, putting my life at risk from the very start.
To make matters worse, Sefa left us stranded in the hospital room when his shift ended. He simply walked out, showing a complete lack of responsibility or concern for my care. This is not how a legitimate medical practice operates. It became obvious that Medaway is not a proper business, but rather a chaotic operation where staff members switch roles at will and leave patients unattended without a second thought.
The facility itself was another red flag. Instead of a proper clinic or hospital, I was taken to a rented floor in an unestablished building that Medaway had hastily arranged for my procedure. There was no official office or medical setting—just a makeshift space that felt unsafe and completely unprofessional. This only added to the mounting fear and anxiety I felt about my upcoming surgery.
The staff, too, were shockingly unqualified and unprofessional. A woman named Seda Ozoglu was particularly troubling. Before I even signed the consent forms, Seda failed to go through them with me. The forms detailed horrifying potential side effects, including the risk of lifelong respiratory problems, but Seda offered no reassurance or explanation. Instead, she seemed more interested in getting the paperwork signed as quickly as possible, without ensuring I understood the risks. This disregard for patient care and informed consent is completely unacceptable and frankly dangerous. She also shouted at my father when he calmly questioned her.
The night before my surgery, at around 11 p.m., Seda and several of her colleagues were shouting loudly in the facility. This was deeply disturbing, especially as I was scheduled for major surgery the next morning. To add to this chaos, it was clear that many staff members were not qualified doctors and were just randomly switching roles, which left us feeling incredibly uneasy and unsafe.
When my father tried to take me outside for some fresh air to calm down, the staff became aggressive and tried to force us to stay inside. We have video footage of this incident, which shows just how intimidating and coercive they were. Their behavior was hostile and threatening, making it clear that they were more interested in controlling us than caring for me as a patient.
After we decided to leave due to the appalling conditions and aggressive behavior, the staff became verbally violent, shouting at us as we tried to leave. This was not just unprofessional but outright frightening. To make matters worse, they attempted to scam us further by demanding additional payment for a night at a hotel that was already included in our package. We have invoice proof that clearly shows this was part of the agreed-upon deal, yet they still tried to extort more money from us. This level of dishonesty and greed is absolutely unacceptable.
Furthermore, despite all of this chaos and the fact that I never even met the surgeon who was supposed to perform my surgery, Medaway has refused to refund our £300 deposit. They have shown no willingness to address our concerns or compensate us for the nightmare they put us through.
Adding to the deception, the supposed London branch they advertise is non-existent. Medaway operates under a thin veneer of legitimacy that quickly falls apart under any scrutiny. This is not a professional or ethical medical practice—it's a dangerous scam.
In conclusion, my experience with Medaway was beyond horrific. They demonstrated a complete lack of professionalism, care, and concern for patient safety. We have video footage and invoices to prove every detail of this review, and I strongly urge anyone considering surgery with Medaway to stay far, far away. This company is dangerous, unethical, and untrustworthy. Do not risk your health or your life—avoid Medaway at all costs.

I am in absolute shock that a clinic like medaway actually exists!
I am baffled as to how this hospital is still operating and has not been shut down! They are unethical and deceiving, they only want to book you in and take your money. Please don’t have your surgery with medaway! I have been begging them to see me for months as I have severe pain and swelling. They tell me to wait while I am in pain! I have asked for an emergency appointment but unfortunately still no response. My tummy tuck/abdominoplasty procedure looks much worse than before, I am severely swollen and botched.
I have been to see my GP but he has directed me to speak to my surgeon as this is not his area of expertise.
I have no option but to resort in seeking legal advice. I work in healthcare and would never leave my patients in pain.
Shame on you medaway.

Just had composite bonding done with medaway. Everything has gone perfect, the transfers were smooth and went well! The teeth turned out amazing and I’m so glad I went with Medaway :)

MEDAWAY STEALS MONEY!!!!!!
I am writing to express my extreme anger regarding the appalling service provided by Medaway. Despite signing contracts and agreeing to payment terms, the company has blatantly stolen money from me and is refusing to return it. It has been over three months since this issue first arose, and I have yet to receive a satisfactory resolution.
I find it absolutely unacceptable that a company would act in such a deceitful and dishonest manner. The lack of accountability and disregard for their contractual obligations is truly disgraceful. I demand immediate action to rectify this situation and for Medaway to return the funds they have unlawfully taken from me.

Botched breast surgery by Dr Faryal Tügba (Medaway)
Absolutely horrendous experience, I had my breasts done with Dr Faryal Tugba, who has tots deformed me and has botched my surgery.
It is absolutely disgusting and saddening they do not care, they go by the name medaway but operate under cosmeticum when you get there.
They use trainees when you are under, I lost a lot of blood, i had to have 4 transfusions and they did not even recognise I needed this until I told them as I myself being a nurse immediately could feel and new the symptoms.
I have tried contact with them all but to no avail, they ignore and do not get back to you.
This has has a huge impact on my mental health and wellbeing but they just want the money and to ignore you after
Do not put your life at risk with this company please

GAVE ME MRSA COULD HAVE KILLED ME !!! This is just a quick review I have ALOT more to say and will do when the time is right but DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They gave me MRSA I am now looking at further surgery and losing my implants and am now unable to work 6 weeks post surgery and am looking at another 3 weeks off they also changed the prices when I got there and tried to get another 3k out of me ! DONT DO IT PEOPLE !!

Ok so went to Medaway clinic for face and neck lift on 13th June the three nights in the hospital were pretty scary had to ask three times for treatment for pain in my eye and had massive bruising to hand where staff were trying to put cannula in.male nurse actually shouted at me and accused me of pulling it out ?? Yes because I would do that to have the other hand bruised taken to apartments that basically look over motor ways and limited shops that are closed for hours especially chemist.asked prior to travel what currency to take and told Euros but only shop that sold food and drink did not take Euros so could of died of dehydration or starvation for three days I was in apartment as no good service luckily the nurse that visits for ten minutes a day changed my euros for me.went for very short post operative visit to say get some anti biotic cream and apply to scars but could not find chemist open so had to wait until I got back to Uk.At Airport nearby could not leave as asking for fit to fly certificate from surgeon but was never given one so cost £100 dollars to get one.have been gone nearly a week and no follow up from Medaway no call no emails yet sending plenty when they wanted my money have a small heamotoma on my lower cheek that I want urgent advice and no one has come back to me have tried to contact the London clinic but number un available no one responding so will have to try and see a private surgeon in uk as not sure NHS would be too happy.I travelled to Turkey on my own thinking that I would be well cared for but on arrival was told to go and stand in the corner and waited over an hour.Since coming home it’s now been a month and even though I found some of the male nursing staff lacking in empathy I do have to say Dr Feryal has done an incredible job and is clearly a brilliant surgeon but no one has contacted me since my return to check up how things are going but if you can cope with that then go ahead.

Almost perfect!!
honestly the service with Medway was 99% outstanding ! The nurses were faultless! No matter which shift they were on ALL my nurses were so welcoming and sweet! They made me feel so comfortable! The actual surgery I don't remember it at all and overall the pain level was like a 2. The most painful thing about this experience was the lymphatic massages.
The only reason it's not a faultless 5/5 is due to some skin around my nipple being removed( gauze during/after surgery?) which is healing quite slowly but overall a stellar and thorough experience!
Edit: I wrote the review post surgery in hospital & there were some minor things that they could've taken more care on but overall okay! The aftercare I found to be slightly lacking but again the nurses in the hospital were faultless!
