My partner and I recently had dinner at Marcel to celebrate my birthday. We were both very impressed with the food and service. The hotel and restaurant are stylishly designed, creating a warm atmosphere. The only thing I’d change would be the closeness of the tables.
Our food was attractively presented and delicious! The dessert was a work of art and I was also presented with a surprise treat for my birthday.
The staff seem to have been trained in serving etiquette. Our waitress, Gabbi, was very polite and efficient and a delight to converse with.

We had a wonderful birthday dinner here. The staff were so friendly, welcoming, and always smiling. The fresh oysters and WA Lobster Linguine were absolutely delicious, and our entrée was excellent too. We really appreciated the complimentary birthday dessert. The steak was good, but it wasn’t as impressive as we expected. Overall, it was a lovely experience, and we’d happily come back.
What a fantastic dining experience! The food was exceptional, and the restaurant has such a warm, inviting atmosphere with beautiful décor. We especially loved the creative three-course Ben Buckler Whisky menu, and the expertly paired whisky cocktails. They also catered brilliantly for gluten-free dietary requirements, which we really appreciated. Absolutely worth every dollar, we’d highly recommend it. We’ll definitely be back!

We dined here on 2 consecutive nights. This review relates to our experience on 15 July. The food was first rate - we shared the lobster linguine. Great flavour and content - particularly with some additional bread to enjoy the sauce.
Our server was Rocky - he was the only server in the whole restaurant - and he managed to keep many customers happy despite being under extreme pressure due to the staff shortage.
