When the radiator fan issue occurred due to overheating, our team immediately responded to assist you. Since the incident happened late at night, we paid the repair bill directly to the garage, ensured all costs were covered, and made sure the car was fully inspected, repaired, and ready for you to resume your trip by the morning within 8 hours. We also covered your local transport costs during the downtime so you wouldn't be stranded.

Regarding the security deposit, as per our standard policy, card authorization deposits are charged and refunded in local currency (LKR). Any minor difference at the time of refund is due to bank currency conversion rates and exchange rate fluctuations, which are handled directly by the card issuing bank and outside our control. To prevent exchange losses, we always advise international travelers to place security deposits in cash using their native currency so we can return the exact same physical banknotes upon return. Additionally, although the vehicle was returned with less fuel than the full tank provided at pickup, we chose not to charge any fee for the fuel difference as a courtesy.
