Sam and his team at ZJ's did an outstanding job building our patio and walkway. They also took down and rebuilt two walls on a prior patio, which were leaning over, and made them better than the original. Their work was top notch and they were great about listening to our ideas and requests, then making things just as we wanted.
Sam was accessible and communicated with us frequently throughout. Once the patio was built, they graded, seeded and restored the site to excellent condition. We were very happy with ZJ's and would use them again.
Zj’s Estate Maintenance replaced an old retaining wall with beautiful stone blocks. The project manager kept us updated every step of the way, The craftsmanship of all the crew is top-notch, and they left the workspace as they found it. Sam and his crew did a great job on our new deck! They removed our very old wooden deck and replaced it with new framing and very beautiful composite decking. They worked hard and had the project finished in about three days. We are very pleased with the results!

We had ZJ’s to our home to repair our patio, seating wall, and fire pit that we had someone else install several years ago. The seating wall was falling over, and the patio was sloping and separating.
Johnny came to our home, viewed the job, and we came to an agreement on price.
When the work started the guys uncovered some unforeseen problems that were going to involve some additional cost.
At this point I should probably explain that I lived in Florida for almost twenty years, and have dealt with some pretty unscrupulous contractors, so my initial reaction was “oh boy here we go”.
To my very pleasant surprise the guys showed me what the issues were and Johnny gave me a fair price to correct them. Johnny also credited back money for curb stone that was no longer needed due to the method of making the additional repairs.
My wife and I are extremely happy with how the job turned out. I have no doubt we’ll be able to enjoy our patio for many years with no more problems.
The crew were really nice guys who did really professional work. Johnny is very fair and made sure we were completely satisfied with the finished product.
I absolutely recommend ZJ’s !!
4/28/2026 update to my previous review
This is our second project with ZJ’s. We had edge stone installed around all our landscape beds, along with some new planting. Samuel King is professional, friendly, and easy to work with. His crew members were all friendly, nice guys. More importantly, they did a great job, and we are very pleased with the results.
The installation will save me a lot of work by letting me mow to the edge of the beds and leave my string trimmer in the garage. It seems like it keeps getting more difficult to find contractors who show up and do good work. ZJ’s is professional, reliable, and does really nice work for a fair price. I’m very comfortable recommending them for your project!

November 2025 back yard project
Again I want to thank ZJ's for another great job on our backyard. They fixed up our terrace with a stone border and pocono stone cover. They installed new stone steps. They brought in boulders and created a lower flat area with a fire pit and brought in topsoil and re graded and seeded my upper grassy area. Everybody loves it. Thanks again for another job well done.

Cannot say enough about ZJ's! From start to finish they shared our vision for making our front walk area safer and more beautiful. In the process, they extended our landscaping down the side of our house and upgraded us to two pop-up drains. The entire team was courteous, communicative, kind, thorough, and hardworking. They worked their butts off to get the entire project done on two of the hottest days of the summer. As an added bonus, ZJ's three times as much work for less than what a different company had quoted us for just the sidewalk. We will return to ZJ's for future projects!

ZJ's was excellent. Our HOA only allowed for a small backyard patio and this was the patio, it was built to our customization. They provided very high contact and communication. The prices were very reasonable. They also cleaned up nicely after they finished the job and laid down seeding for the lawn to regrow after their work was done. I would highly recommend them for any patio.
It was a pleasure working with Johny and his team. They were always on time and their workmanship speaks for itself. Did what was committed and went above and beyond to build my deck. I would highly recommend them.
