Shelly is awesome!!! One of the best tour guide experiences we’ve ever had. We came to Kanab for some fun in the beautiful surrounding nature. We saw peekaboo slot canyon and Shelly was so knowledgeable and great at driving that side by side. We scaled some rocks and all our trust was with her. It was perfect. 10/10 would tour with them again.

We took the Peekaboo slot canyon UTV tour and loved it! I have never driven a UTV before, but it was so fun and pretty easy. The trails we took were fairly action packed, but not so extreme so as to be intimidating. We rode on soft sand on smooth curving paths with occasional dunes, with the only negative being that the path was sometimes bumpy washboard. Our guide was great, and we followed her at a pretty quick pace. She explained everything well before we started, and it was ok to follow at our own comfortable distance and pace. The slot canyon impressed us more than we even anticipated! It was a very short walk to the start of the canyon, and immediately we were amazed and feeling we were in different place. We were taking pictures every few steps! Our guide again was knowledgeable and we had plenty of time to ask questions, and take pictures. She took many amazing panoramics for us! The rest of the hike was pretty easy and not too long- about an hour roundtrip. This tour is well worth it!

Awesome week of photography I did several tours with KTC this week! Got to do some sunsets, astrophotography, canyons, etc. I went out each time with Shelly Wayne, the staff professional photographer. Shelly not only takes you to fantastic places to photograph, she also takes the time to help you with any technical aspects of your photography. She’s taught me a few things that I hadn’t learned in all my years of being a photographer! Not only that, she got pictures on her phone of me as I’m taking my photos and air dropped them to me so I could show my family when I got back home! I had a lot of fun on my trip and Shelly took it over the top!! I will definitely travel with her on some of her guided trips in the future and I will go back to Kanab for the pristine night skies and all the adventures I didn’t get to do this trip!!

We had a fantastic time visiting “Peakaboo” slot canyon and the “Great Chamber”. Online booking and waiver process was simple and easy to navigate. The actual location for pickup is excellent and centrally located. We had a group of 8, so the tour company provided a serious vehicle that held us all (no UTV for this tour). Our guide for the afternoon was called Nick and he was brilliant. Knew a ton about the area and had a mountain of stories to share and answered all our questions. The slot canyon was amazing, and Nick had all the tips for how to take the best photos. One of group had a minor medical moment (nothing serious, just a little dehydrated), and Nick was on hand to help and we continued with the tour. Lots of water on hand for us all, and would highly recommend this company to anyone.

Went on the Dark Sky desert expedition with Shelly because Shelly is a fantastic photographer and its so rare I can meet a photographer I admire much less learn from them. Turns out that wasn't even the best part. The experience was magical for lack of any better descriptor. First, the last time I went camping I was barely older than a toddler so I was nervous about what I needed to bring or do. The tour company responded to each question I had until the day before when Shelly responded herself. she was friendly, patient, and made sure I understood what I needed for the overnight portion. The tour of white pocket was thorough. They made us dinner then took us out to the formation. Shelly knows a lot of about the geology and forces that create the formations we see. I was having trouble making a formation interesting artistically and she showed me a few ways to accomplish that. We stayed on the formation through nightfall to get persied meteor shower and milky way photos. Sadly a large storm came in with 50mph gusts and we had to call it a night. Surprisingly, my tent stakes didnt move in the slightest during the storm. The rest of the tour was an artistic blur for me. 1800 photos, some of the most gorgeous scenery I've ever seen, and every so often having Shelly look at what I was doing and help me see a new perspective had me feeling in an almost creative trance. For my 40th birthday I can't have asked for a better experience.

Great guide, great ride! First rate team all around. Mica, our Guide, was fantastic. She offered much local knowledge, did a great job leading and making sure everyone was safe, well informed and having a great time. Machines are newer and in great shape and the rides between stops were exhilarating.
