They came here though my home warranty. The 1st visit, they fixed the valves issue but the other side was still leaking. I called them they came back within a few days and changed the pluming on the other side. The job looks profesional, clean.. I am even considering on replacing my current pool service!! You can see the two 2-first pics of the before and the 3rd pic is the after. The 2nd pic shows the sealer they applied for the leaking from the Valves during the 1st visit. Very good job. I only paid $125 through my home warranty.. my current pool company was charging me $185 to fix it…. 😁☺️

I had Tommy from J & J Pools come out through my home warranty company to inspect my pool pump, and I was extremely disappointed with the experience.
Tommy was very condescending and immediately attributed the pump failure to “neglect.” My pool is crystal clear and has always been professionally maintained by a pool service. The issue with the pump was not something that could have been reasonably identified through normal maintenance, as the alleged damage could not be seen without taking the equipment apart.
When my pump started making unusual noises, I immediately shut it off and contacted my home warranty company for service. I did exactly what I should have done to prevent further damage.
What was even more disappointing was that after rejecting the warranty service, I received an invoice from J & J Pools offering to replace the equipment for $2,400. I found this particularly frustrating given the way the diagnosis and rejection were handled.
I have been a home warranty customer for over 11 years and have barely needed to use my coverage. To have a technician come out, speak to me in a condescending manner, claim my equipment failure was due to neglect without a reasonable explanation, and then provide a $2,400 quote to replace the equipment was extremely disappointing.
I would not recommend J & J Pools based on my experience with this technician. I expected a professional evaluation and respectful customer service, and unfortunately, I received neither.

Our senior technician completed the inspection J&J Pools was hired to perform, following American Home Shield’s requirements. He documented and photographed significant calcium buildup consistent with a prolonged leak, which he estimated had been present for at least six months. These findings and photographs are required documentation for your home warranty company.
As a third-party contractor, we diagnose equipment issues and report our findings. American Home Shield makes all coverage decisions; JNJ Pools does not approve or deny claims. Please contact AHS directly to review your coverage and discuss its decision.
When coverage is denied, we provide an optional quote so customers have a way to move forward. The $2,400 replacement quote carried no obligation to accept. Customer service is JNJ Pools priority in every single service.
