Thank you for using iiCAPTAIN Alison and for taking the time to leave feedback on your experience with Gavin.
At first, I was quite worried about whether I could get my Skipper’s Ticket because of the language barrier. However, after registering and accessing the links provided, I found the videos and summaries extremely helpful for preparing for the theory test. Thanks to these resources, I was able to pass the theory test without any difficulty.
On the same day, I also completed the practical test. Although it was my first time driving a boat, the instructor explained everything in detail and patiently helped me practise until I was confident and ready for the test.
Thanks to such an excellent instructor, I was able to obtain my Skipper’s Ticket in just one day!
If you’re hesitating to enrol because you’re worried about your English or lack of experience, don’t overthink it—just give it a go! With this fantastic instructor guiding you, you’ll gain the confidence and skills you need to become a confident skipper.

Had an excellent day on the water with Paul! It was my first time driving a boat and he made me feel so comfortable. I learnt all the essential skills for the skippers ticket and feel comfortable taking the boat out now. All the learning resources provided were excellent to make me feel prepared for the assessments. Can't recommend enough. Paul made a nervous experience, enjoyable!

Coach Galvin is exceptional! His coaching style is the perfect balance of challenging and supportive. He is super clear with his instructions, breaking down complex concepts so they are easy to understand. What sets him apart is how incredibly empathetic and understanding he is—he takes the time to listen and tailors his approach to where you're at. Highly recommended!"
