The Amtico Signature in Chiltern Oak, laid in the wide plank style, looks fantastic and we’re so pleased we could help bring your newly renovated bathroom together.

We had an excellent experience with Hudson Flooring throughout our engagement with them. Tom Hudson provided helpful and impartial advice. He didn’t just try to sell us something expensive. The gents who fitted the flooring, Harry and Joe, were also superb. They were very friendly, kept everything tidy and helped out by moving furniture. The final result looks amazing!

Thank you to Tom for your wise words, along with the help of your ‘visualiser screen’, this helped me to finally decide on the best option for our floor. Harry arrived to prep the floor, then over the next two days Harry and Joe worked methodically and neatly. These two installers were both extremely friendly, professional and courteous. They carried out the work with an incredible level of care and attention to detail, and the finished result is outstanding. We would have no hesitation in recommending Hudson Flooring. A first-class service from start to finish!

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us a 5-star review!

It was a pleasure helping you find the right flooring solution for your hall, kitchen and utility. We’re delighted that Tom’s advice, along with the Amtico Visualiser in our Sevenoaks showroom, helped you make your decision on the Amtico Spacia Large Parquet in Powdered Oak.

We'll be sure to pass your kind words on to our expert floor installers, Harry and Joe. They take great pride in their preparation and installation work, so it’s fantastic to hear that their care, attention to detail and professionalism shone through.

We’re absolutely thrilled you’re so pleased with the finished floor. The result looks fantastic, and we’re particularly pleased we were able to install the Amtico over the existing tiles, saving you the time, disruption and cost of having them uplifted.

Thank you again for choosing Hudson Flooring and for recommending us.

Hudson flooring fit Amtico in our lounge today and did our stair carpet around one year ago. From deposit to installation today took around 10 days and they are excellent. Very neat and tidy. Very happy with the finished product. Thank you to the fitters: Joe, Richard and Fraser. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who wants their flooring replaced.

Another great job from Hudson Flooring. All the bedrooms, stairs and landing were fitted over two days. The fitters did a great job and were very helpful and friendly. Cleaned up thoroughly when they had finished, helped move furniture back into place and took all the old carpet and mess away. We used Hudson Flooring to fit our Amtico to the entire downstairs some years ago and they were exceptional then. Hence we were keen to use them on this occasion and have not been disappointed.

Everything about our dealing with Hudson Flooring in Sevenoaks was expertly done and professional. We had brilliant advice and help whilst choosing the floor for our conservatory and the Amtico flooring we chose was expertly fitted by Joe, who took such care to ensure we ended up with the most amazing floor imaginable. Everything about this purchase and fitting exceeded our expectations and we have no hesitation in recommending them.

After an excellent experience using Hudson Flooring on two previous occasions this was the third time we have reached out to Tom and the team. Our Amtico flooring from a previous installation was impacted by our kitchen renovation and Kyle was brilliant in working through what we would need and how the team could seamlessly integrate into the kitchen works, working together with our other contractor. Joe did a wonderful job in installing the new panels to tie it into the existing floor and was everything you would look for, - helpful, friendly, with great attention to detail and a high quality finish. Over the years we've always had a great experience with HF, would highly recommend.

Thoroughly delighted with our newly laid kitchen, diner and snug floor. Our fitters, Harry and Joe took an obvious pride in their work. Our house has been extended more than once. Old flooring was laid over a mismatch of concrete and wooden subfloors. Harry and Joe worked with skill and patience to raise the subfloor and then lay Amtico Weathered Oak planks throughout. This was not an easy or a straightforward job. Especially, having to accommodate the area underneath our 'difficult' dishwasher - which took more than one go. Notwithstanding, one or two minor communication/administrative blackouts over the Easter break, Harry and Joe have made the entire downstairs space now look; 5*, unified, level and smart.

Jayne Peirce 2026.04.13

We recently ordered carpet for our stairs and landing from Hudson, having read excellent reviews and wanting to support an independent business. The quality and choice are outstanding, we visited the shop, took away samples, and when neither was quite right, the team were genuinely helpful in guiding us to a darker colour we were happy with. We agreed on a price and went ahead. Two weeks later the carpet was fitted and it looked stunning but it was the original colour, not the one we had chosen. We called immediately and, while a discount was offered, we felt that wasn't the right resolution and requested the correct carpet be laid. A new fitting date was arranged and the end result is excellent, the standard of fitting is superb. However, the experience in between left something to be desired. There was little proactive communication throughout, no confirmation of when fitters would arrive on either occasion, and no follow-up call after fitting to check we were happy. We understand that mistakes happen and to Hudson's credit, this clearly isn't a business that often gets things wrong. But when something does go wrong, the customer care afterwards needs to match the quality of the product and the fitting. A little more communication and a genuine check-in at the end would go a long way.
