Would highly recommend hope shot if you are looking into sober living. Murfreesboro has a great recovery community! I went there after a month of rehab and it helped me get on my feet and become independent.
Hope Shot was one of the most challenging yet rewarding experiences of my life. Although it was not the first halfway house I went to, it was the last—because Hope Shot helped me succeed. The program played a vital role in helping me regain stability, clarity, and focus in my recovery. It gave me the structure and support I needed to work, attend my meetings consistently, and begin rebuilding my life with purpose.
The women in the program created a safe, encouraging environment where I felt understood, supported, and never judged. Their compassion and shared strength made a meaningful difference in my healing journey. Kristen and Josh were truly lifesavers—both in their dedication and in the guidance they provided. Their knowledge, lived experience, and genuine commitment to helping others in recovery helped me develop the tools and confidence I needed to move forward.
Even when I became pregnant, they stood by my side and helped me get to where I needed to be so I could raise my daughter in a healthy, stable environment. They truly became like a family to me, offering not only support but genuine care and love. They even went above and beyond by throwing me a baby shower, reminding me that I was never alone and that my daughter and I were surrounded by people who believed in us.
Because of this program, I learned how to better manage my thoughts, emotions, and triggers while staying focused on long-term sobriety. If it were not for Hope Shot and the people behind it, I honestly do not know where I would be today. Their support gave me hope, accountability, and a renewed belief in myself. I am deeply grateful for the impact Hope Shot has had on my life, and it will always be a foundational part of my recovery journey.
It works if you want it 😊❤️

Great housing works with you very grateful for this place
This place changed my life frfr
Hopeshot Recovery is a great place to start if you're in pursuit of a new beginning. Josh Floyd does a wonderful job as a leader, mentor, sponsor, and friend. It's a 10 outta 10 for me👍🏾
Man idk where I'd be or what I'd do if not for this place and it's owner... Saving my life and teaching me to be a man and live life all at the same time... Definitely the BEST around..
Best place hands down. Very understanding and wise man. Thank you to this place, it saved my life. 10/10 DEFINITELY recommend.
I have first hand knowledge of how hard the owner, Josh Floyd, works to keep all of his recovery houses safe, comfortable, and filled with all of the essentials. This man spends countless hours taking care of his residents. Whether that be showing up for them in court, having weekly house meetings, or spending hours at the DMV to make sure they have identification. Josh has a passion for helping people, and it greatly shows through his work at Hopeshot.
I spent right at a year of my life at the 303 Sadler Ct house. Josh and his leadership played a key role in supplying insight on just about anything one could possibly experience in life and always gave direction down the path of sobriety and safe, mental health. However, our house manager, Cullen Kelley, was possibly the laziest, unknowledgeable person that could barely stay awake. He used to freak out on anyone who would transpose laundry that wasn't theirs from the the washer to the dryer, saying it was one of his peeves. I had to do this several times with his laundry because he would disrespectfully fall asleep during loads. Cullen, we know you wear women's underware. It's better if you were honest about your preferences. I can't tell you how many times items would come up missing and we begged you, even donated cameras to put up inside the house. This guy took all the cameras and just kept them. We had a house chat that we would communicate with one another about certain issues but anytime anyone would send more than 3 messages in a row, Cullen would cry about his wrist vibrating while he was at work at McDonalds. I, personally, was banging on this guy's door because a fight was about to break out and he was finally able to come out of his room 20 mins later. People in sober living are fighting tooth and nail to get their lives going in the right direction and times are tight. This guy was either borrowing money from me for smokes, prescriptions, or door dash. I'm sure I'll get an email addressing my above statements but I believe Cullen is keeping items donated to the program for personal use, he borrows money from people barely staying afloat in recovery, cries about his wrist vibrating when people are communicating in recovery chat, and can barely stay awake long enough to transfer his thongs from the washer to the dryer. Thongs I say, pink thongs that I saw on more than one occasion and I'm far from the only one.
