communication could of easily could of been better (trying to get a time for installation was missing) when fitter finally came found out had been advised wrong stair lift been ordered so had to wait more to get right stair lift fitted no problems fitter was so knowledgeable and got on with job even as he was not at his best of health but got on with job and showed us how it worked and explained it ran on battery so beware of kids playing on it.

It's now two weeks since the stairlift (Handicare 1100) was installed. Support prior to the installation was excellent (quick response on the phone and all questions answered). Communication on the day of installation could have been better - I had to phone a couple of times to get a precise idea of when it would happen - which was important as I needed to coordinate with work. But the actual installation went very smoothly and the installer was friendly and professional. The stairlift does exactly what is needed. It remains to be seen how reliable it is (it's a reconditioned one). Compared to others we looked at, price is good.

From the initial contact via the telephone through to the completed installation Affordable Stairlifts have been a pleasure to deal with.
Nick who carried out the initial survey was polite and knowledgeable and intuitively understood our requirements. Tom who carried out the installation was also very polite, efficient and knowledgeable. Both of these Guys were very professional in their approach..
At no point during the purchase did we feel under any pressure to sign.
From initial contact to completed installation in less than one week. Very happy and we would highly recommend.

Prompt measuring up for fitting by Steve.
Quickly installed, on the day, by Ryan a freelance fitter from Dudley in for 2 ill fitters from their Bradford depot.
Service tainted by promised return phone calls from the Bradford depot which didn’t materialise because our family needed to know if this would be a am or pm fitting.
So a pat on the back for Steve and Ryan both of whom were friendly and helpful , and a wooden spoon for those who man the phones.
