I can highly recommend Manchester Stairlifts without hesitation. My 89 year old mum had been stuck in her bedroom for 8 weeks due to a fall. Last Friday morning after a visit from occupational therapist who suggested she had a stairlift, I browsed through Google and decided on this company due to good reviews, I phoned them and Roger answered the phone he was so helpful, he came that afternoon and measured up , he spoke at great length to my mum giving her advise , she decided on a nearly new stairlift, the price was very good, he reasured her it would actually look like new and could be fitted the following Wednesday. The stairlift as now been installed as promised by Nathan and his assistant they have done a fantastic job. Thank you Roger 😊 and your team you have made what I thought would be a daunting task a piece of cake. My mum is pleased because it does look like a new one 😀 Susan Scholes

Roger turned up on time. Listened to what I needed . Free survey - intermittent use for family member so doesn’t need to be new and needs to be slim , preferably with an auto turn. Good price, large saving on new - (even after paying the VAT as not disabled myself .) Nathan the fitter was excellent. Very pleased as auto seat only 7 months old with new batteries and 2 remotes. 2 year guarantee. 5/5.

Absolutely amazing company! We enquired about a stair lift for my mum, and Roger came over to assess the situation. He clearly explained all our options with no pressure to buy. We needed some alterations to the top stairs, which Roger arranged for us, and once that was done, the stair lift was installed within just 3 days of ordering. I would highly recommend Manchester Stairlift to anyone. They are a true family-run company that really listens to their customers’ needs and delivers a first-class service.

Roger installed the stairlift quickly and efficiently, as my father was being discharged from hospital and we had very little time to arrange the installation. Due to the urgency, I didn’t have the opportunity to properly research the product and have since realised that we paid well over the going rate for a second-hand stairlift. Sadly, my father only used it twice before he passed away, and we had owned it for just a month. When I contacted Roger to ask if he would buy the stairlift back, he offered only £350 from my initially buying it for £1750. I have since sold it on eBay to another family in a similar situation for twice that amount of what Roger offered. It’s clear that Roger’s business model involves selling at a high price and buying back at a low one. rinse and repeat.

We are sorry that your Father didn't use the lift much.
We are disappointed that we have gone from a 5 star now to a 1 star from your previous review. As a company we always strive to meet our clients requirements and needs and in your case we were very prompt and extremely quick to install at your property.
At the initial survey, all options were discussed for your fathers needs and various different prices and products were agreed on. As you selected a powered option that came at an additional cost, with an extended warranty also coming at an additional cost which resulted in a premium product being purchased.
As a company we are not obligated to buy back stairlifts but in most cases we will offer a trade price and explain to our customers you could potentially get more going to the open market which in your case you did.
We always advise the public not to try to remove or reinstall our stairlifts themselves as this needs to be done by a qualified engineer.

We cannot thank Roger and Nathan enough for the help they have given us. Our elderly father is in hospital, due for discharge Thursday or Friday this week. Roger flew in like a superman on Wednesday and had everything sorted and fitted for us by early afternoon on Thursday. Nathan fitted the lift and demonstrated how to work it, he like his Dad is very professional, empathetic and respectful to our situation. 5***** from us.

Called Manchester stairlifts possibly by mistake as Manchester too far really. The chap who answered talked me through how to start the stairlift which hadn't been used in 5 years. He was superbly clear and precise, knew exactly what he was talking about and helped me start up the lift without much ado.
