This place was more than perfect! Beautiful inside and out. We enjoyed the pool and the hammock the most. It’s close to West End beach (5 min) and West Bay beach (15 min). Also close to Mayan canopy where we saw the sloths, monkeys and zip lines! Michelle was super lovely and helpful making our experience even better. If you want a quiete relaxing stay, this is the one for you. Highly recommend!

Fun with Afan! We literally just returned home from our Western Caribbean cruise that included Roatan, Honduras and a private tour with "Do Roatan Day Tours". This was the best tour we have taken thus far during our cruising life and our guide, Afan, was phenomenal. From the initial signup questions I had regarding pricing and billing to texting me the day we arrived at the Roatan port, letting me know where to look for him once we exited the port, I felt confident about the company. Once we were greeted we hopped into his vehicle and were off on our adventure which included discussions and points of interest as we drove from location to location, a local market and chocolate store where you could watch them making chocolate, a monkey, sloth and Macaw reserve and the rum company located high atop a hill with an awesome view of the coast below. Afan was very knowledgeable and courteous. This is exactly the kind of tour our family loves, learning about the local culture and not just a canned point to point drive. While I realize this probably sounds like a typical review, let me say, this tour review was from a Royal Caribbean cruise my bride and I took with most of our adult children. She and I will be back in Roatan in 3 weeks on a Norwegian Cruise Line cruise with my siblings and if nothing else, have let Afan know we will be booking another tour with him, even if just to spend time with him and visit. I apologize about the quality of the photos. I never plan to post any but I thought it would be nice to post something.

Fun time in Roatan We had an excellent time on this tour. It was a great way to spend half a day learning about Roatan. We started out at the rum factory. (I bought the rum cream) It had excellent views of the sea. From there we went to The Roatan Chocolate Factory. It was located in a surfing beach community from there we went up and saw the Monkeys and Sloths. That was the best part of the tour. Along the way, we got a lot of information about what island life is like. Marek was very easy to work with and made the day a lot of fun. I would highly recommend this tour!

¡Fabuloso! Afan es genial!!! Afan es agradable, amable, carismático, y le da información sobre las islas al conducir a cada excursión. Las excursiones fueron increíbles y el snorkeling cambió la vida. Los guías y otros empleados en el lugar de buceo fueron amables y serviciales. Disfruté de la guía principal de buceo tomando en serio la seguridad y llegar a la parte inferior del nivel de natación de todos, pero muy amable! Afan tiene un precio muy razonable en comparación con otras empresas de excursiones. En un país extranjero siempre existe, al menos para mí, el miedo a lo desconocido, pero ni una vez tuve miedo con Afan a nuestro lado! ¡Gracias Afan!

The bestprivate tour in Roatan !!!! Avond voor aankomt in Roatan een mailtje gestuurd en binnen 5 minuten een positieve reactie terug ontvangen. Duidelijke afspraak in vloeiend Engels. Afan stond de andere ochtend keurig in de haven ons op te wachten. We waren eerder onderweg dan alle andere aanbieders van dagtochten en na een kort bezoek aan een marktje gingen we naar het Zip Line park. Hier was het nu nog lekker rustig en hadden we alle tijd met een privé instructeur zonder lange wachtrijen. Leuke activiteit met lange lijnen. Tevens is er een opvangpark voor aapjes, papegaaien en luiaards waar je een rondleiding krijgt en zelfs in de kooien mag en waarbij de dieren op je komen zitten. Terug in de auto had Afan nog wat lokale lekkernijen voor ons gehaald, wat een top vent !!! Bezoekje aan de rumcake winkel met proeverij was erg lekker en leuk Helaas was het de hele dag regenachtig en bewolkt dus de mooi stranden en uitzichtpunten die Afan ons wilde laten zien waren niet zoals het had kunnen zijn. Maar hij heeft ons het hele eiland rondgereden en alles laten zien. Perfecte gids en heerlijke privé tour, Afan wil het je echt naar de zin maken , is correct en vriendelijk en bied dit alles ook nog voor een zeer redelijke prijs aan. Wij hadden ons geen betere tour kunnen wensen .

Doesn't Get Any Better - Book this tour! After 30 years of traveling throughout the Caribbean, I can confidently say this was hands-down the best tour we’ve ever taken. In fact, we’ve done this tour twice in the last three months—that’s how good it is.Afan is personable, incredibly knowledgeable, and makes everything completely hassle-free—from booking to the meeting spot. Great three hour trip around the island seeing the highlighted spots. Afan is a great communicater and he gave us plenty of time at each location for a relaxing day. Be sure to follow the instructions on how to leave the port and meet up with your driver.

AFAN is the BEST This was our third time and we decided to book a trip with Afan to see the island. He picked us up on time with cold water and we were ready for our adventure. Afan has big knowledge about the island and that made our trip even better because we had a lot of questions:)) We spent some money at the rum factory for sure but the view was spectacular . If you love chocolate definitely try chocolate factory... you will not be disappointed. Afan also took us zip lining and to see local animals. We held parrots, hung out with monkeys and got to experience a sloth. Our ability to interact with the animals and see parts of Roatan was exactly what we wanted. THANK YOU

AFAN es el MEJOR Esta fue nuestra tercera vez y decidimos reservar un viaje con Afan para ver la isla. Nos recogió a tiempo con agua fría y estábamos listos para nuestra aventura. Afan tiene un gran conocimiento sobre la isla y eso hizo que nuestro viaje fuera aún mejor porque teníamos muchas preguntas: ) ) Gastamos algo de dinero en la fábrica de ron seguro, pero la vista era espectacular. Si te encanta el chocolate definitivamente prueba chocolate de fábrica... no te decepcionará. Afan también nos llevó tirolina y para ver animales locales. Sostuvimos loros, salimos con monos y pudimos experimentar un perezoso. Nuestra capacidad de interactuar con los animales y ver partes de Roatán era exactamente lo que queríamos. Gracias.

We had an amazing experience with "Do Roatan Day Tour." We arrived at the port, and on very short notice, they were able to book the tour for us. I spoke with the owner, who scheduled someone to pick us up within just 30 minutes. They arrived in a very clean car, driven by a highly professional driver. He showed us around, and we ended up at a beautiful beach. Overall, it was a fantastic experience. We are planning to visit Roatan again, and we will definitely call them for a longer tour. It was well worth every penny we paid!

¡Toma asiento ahora! Tuvimos una experiencia increíble con "Do Roatan Day Tour. " Llegamos al puerto, y en muy poco tiempo, pudieron reservar el tour para nosotros. Hablé con el propietario, que programó a alguien para recogernos en solo 30 minutos. Llegaron en un coche muy limpio, conducido por un conductor altamente profesional. Él nos mostró los alrededores, y terminamos en una hermosa playa. En general, fue una experiencia fantástica. Estamos planeando visitar Roatán de nuevo, y sin duda los llamaremos para un recorrido más largo. ¡Valió la pena cada centavo que pagamos!

Everything was great. Getting up and down the hill was a hassle. But once you up there you feel secluded. The pool was nice and everything was clean. Really close to west end. I would stay again.
