Lucky day for the Isle of Skye in November! Our trip hosted by our driver, Nick, was so lovely! He provided us with amazing folklore and the history of what we were seeing. He had a clever sense of humor and was fun to listen to. I especially liked his presentation of language history of Scotland. And we loved his information about livestock after we let him know we work with livestock at home in Oregon. We were so lucky to have a partly-sunny-with-no-rain day. There were lots of stops for this long tour day. Nick’s back stories and experiences made what we were seeing so much more relevant and meaningful. Thank you, Nick!

Highly recommend this tour company! From the initial contact to the company through to, and including, our full day tour to Glencoe and surrounding highlands, Happy Tours Scotland's service was excellent. It was a private family tour and the guide and company accommodated our requests. Niall was so informative and had much information and stories to share. The day trip centered around a celebration of life for our parents, and Niall kindly played two tunes on the bagpipes which made the made the day so memorable. Thank you Niall and I highly recommend this company. Tour date September 8th 2025 (this review sight won't let he input this date).

We enthusiastically recommend Happy Tours! Our first tour was a private experience to the Isle of Skye for four people in a Range Rover with our spectacular guide, Andrew. Andrew was timely, very professional and his knowledge of the area was stellar, as he grew up in the Highlands. We had so much fun talking to him and seeing the sites. He was very accommodating and kind to a remarkable degree! The booking experience with Cameron was equally impressive. Tomorrow we have a transfer tour to Edinburgh that was specially designed for our group. Happy Tours has made our trip to Scotland memorable and special. Thank you Cameron and Andrew!

We thoroughly enjoyed our private Loch Ness & Culloden Battlefield Tour. Brian our guide possessed a wealth knowledge about the region and its history and even took us off grid to explore the Scottish country side. Our only advice is to work on the pacing a bit more as we were unsure how much time we had at each point along to tour. We understand this can be challenging when comparing a small private tour relative to a large group tour that tends to take more time at each stop.

We feel the pace of the private tour can be largely dictated by the guest as some have a greater interest in one particular sight than another. However we do take your suggestion seriously and will ensure our guides give you as full a breakdown of the days events as they start and continue along the tour. Sometimes it's inevitable at this time of year to make a few on the spot alterations with the effects of storm damage and weather conditions laying a huge part on the day.

Great sights & stories from Murdoch! Murdoch was our driver/storyteller and was fabulous! I loved the history & humor shared throughout the journey. The pacing of the tour was good with adequate restroom stops. Directions and safety features were clearly stated. What a magical land we were able to experience!

Magnificent Tour of the Isle of Skye, Urquhart Castle and other Scottish sites My wife and I had an absolutely wonderful day tour of Scotland with our Tour Guide Mike. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Unforgettable Isle of Skye Tour with Andrew! We were a group of seven ladies, and our day touring the Isle of Skye with Happy Tours and the wonderful Andrew was simply amazing! From the moment we started, Andrew made sure we were comfortable, informed, and entertained. He planned the perfect route with plenty of well-timed breaks, breathtaking viewpoints, and hidden gems—always accompanied by fascinating stories and local lore. Despite a bit of Scottish weather, Andrew kept the mood light and the adventure moving. His knowledge of the area was incredible, and his recommendations for the best photo ops and stops made the experience feel truly personalized. He was fun, friendly, and absolutely looked the part of our charming Scottish guide. We loved that he honked when we past by his moms house and all waved! By the end of the day, we affectionately dubbed ourselves Andrew’s Lassies! His sparkling Scottish personality was the highlight of an already spectacular day. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide or tour. Highly recommend Happy Tours—and if you’re lucky enough to get Andrew, prepare for a day you won’t forget!

Toured the Highlands, Culloden, Clara Cairns, and Inverness with Brian. He was fabulous and this was the best day of the entire cruise. Brian is knowledgeable on so many levels -history, current events, politics and so much more. Highlands, Culloden, Clara Cairns and more! Brian was the best tour guide. Everything g about our day was excellent. He was knowledgeable, interesting, and so very pleasant. We had extra time so he took us down some backroads to see more of the beautiful Highland countryside. Never will forget the herd of cattle on the road with us. Great memories made that day.
