This is the cutest place to stay in a beautiful town. The room was very cute and very clean. It was a tiny room, but I knew it was going to be so no surprises. Check in is self service and very easy. Communication is quick. A great option if you don’t want a chain hotel room.

Absolutely charming Bed & Breakfast! Lovely home with southern charm and Mayberry like central VA location. Lots of great restaurants, all is conveniently located, easy walk for antiquing and dining or you can sit a spell and view the birds in the Magnolia tree from the comfort of the front porch swing. The home is exquisite, very clean, very elegant. Would highly recommend.

We have stayed at The Grey Swan many times in years past. This was our first visit under the new management. It was delightful. The new format combines the ease of an AirBNB with the ambiance of a Victorian bed & breakfast. Our room (#4) was very clean and comfortable, although the bathroom is a little small and I am a big guy. The self serve breakfast was nice and the large living room and dining room were all decorated for Christmas. Christopher and Jess were instantly available if any questions arose.

I just had a great weekend getaway at The Grey Swan. The rooms and common areas are beautiful. I've paid far more for far less. Location is an easy walk from the shops and restaurants of Blackstone.

The Grays Swain Inn Bed and Breakfast is a beautiful place to stay. It is in a great little town reminded me of a little hallmark town you see in there movies. I was with a group of friends that was in town for a beautiful wedding weekend. I would recommend this to anyone for any occasion. The BB was very clean, beds and pillows were so comfortable. The kitchen was very nice and furnished. We all enjoyed the foods they supplied for our breakfast. The front porch was one of my favorites! I just love a wrap around porch and being able to set around with all my friends was great time and lots of memories were shared. Jess was amazing with any questions or help! We are all talking about going back to be able to enjoy again without no agenda. Thank you Swans Inn for a great experience! ❤️🦢

My children were married this past weekend at Waverly Estates. I searched for a place to accommodate a crew of friends and they were all throughly impressed and thanked me over and over again for finding such a lovely place to stay!! The owner was very accommodating from the start and always willing to help with my 90 questions!! They can’t wait to return for a weekend getaway and I am looking forward to go back!! Thank you again Charles Everything was truly wonderful and my friends wouldn’t wanted to gave stayed anywhere else :))) beautiful in the fall as well!!!

My husband and I stayed at the Grey Swan Inn this past weekend along with our friends and we all fell in love with the inn. Jess was fantastic and insured we had all we needed, communication was easy and efficient and I loved the help yourself kitchen. We are trying to determine when we can all return again. Please consider staying here when you visit Blackstone. You won't be disappointed. My only recommendation would be to have additional seating on the front porch as our group spent many hours out there.

Wonderful stay at The Grey Swan. Easy parking. Nice breakfast and kitchen to make your own meals if you prefer that. Most recent stay was in a room with windows on 3 sides making it very light. Room was perfect size too with small fridge and nice bathroom. Comfy bed and pillows.
