Delicious Bites with a Great Guide
Luca was an outstanding guide. He took us to five fantastic food stops throughout Rome's Jewish Ghetto and Trastevere, and every location was excellent. Along the way, he shared so much interesting information about the food, culture, and history of each neighborhood, which made the experience even more memorable. What really set this tour apart was Luca himself. As a lifelong Roman, he had incredible local knowledge and gave us some of the best recommendations we received during our time in Rome, from must-visit spots to places worth avoiding. He also created a great group atmosphere, and by the end of the tour everyone was exchanging recommendations and chatting like old friends. We left feeling both very full and much more connected to the city. This was one of the highlights of our trip, and we would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Rome.
Great Idea for 1st Day in Rome
Wish we had done this on the first day in Rome! What a great introduction to the flavors of the city as well as the various neighborhoods. Went to several areas all with different tastings. One of our favorites was the Jewish Ghetto - it had some great appetizers! So much food so don’t plan for a meal right after!
Gluten Free pizza that is delicious !
I am Gluten Free and haven’t enjoyed pizza since becoming so , what a revelation this Pizza was , proper texture and delicious ! The staff were knowledgeable and friendly . They do cook the pizza in the same oven as the regular pizzas , so if you are coeliac you may need to avoid but they knew to inform me of this . Thank you Lily and chef Babi !
Must do in Rome
My kids, ranging from teen to preteen, all enjoyed it so much. They came away smiling and confident. They all say they will make the melon gelato and tiramisu at home. What more can you say and ask for in Rome for 2-3 hours? It is the perfect activity for the kids to experience the culture of dolce d’italiano, a hands on and unforgettable time!
