I enrolled my children in Felix lessons for many years and was consistently satisfied until this past season. Most of the instructors we valued left, aside from one who was promoted to manager. The owner moved my child to a different class without consulting me, and when I declined the change, he responded with emails accusing me of harassing staff. I’m not sure what has changed internally, but based on this experience, I would choose the JCC or U of T over returning to Felix.
Hello Tina, thank you for your feedback. The class was adjusted from a high level to an intro to swim team group and you weren’t happy and raised your voice at our staff. We did our best to accommodate but you chose not to continue.
We offered you a refund for the one class, you then requested a refund for all the classes attended, and we even agreed to that in order to resolve the situation.
We appreciate your time with us, but we maintain only a calm and civil approach to resolving issues.
We always try our best and will continue to do so.

Super friendly and safe environment, water is clean, facility is overall very nice. They are very accommodating with your schedule as well.
I am yet to fully learn to swim freestyl, but for the first time ever, I feel like I will be able to. All coaches are great but Matthew is the best.

My kids’ teacher is amazing - they have infinitesimal patience and an abundance of teaching skills. My child enjoys swimming with them and has made great improvements. My only concern is that the downtown pool facility has a lot of closures (not within the control of Felix). They do well to offer make-up or reschedule classes.
Unfortunately, the recent closures are beyond our control, as they are directed by the schools we operate out of.
That said, rest assured that no classes ever lost-we always accommodate missed classes with make-up lessons.

Best swim instruction anywhere! If you want your child to learn to swim quickly and skillfully and at the same time be happy and relaxed throughout their lessons, this is the place.
The instruction is top notch. The child to teacher ratio is never more than three to one and often just two in the class. If a child appears nervous at first to enter the water the instructors can call over an additional instructor to patiently and skillfully find a way to play with toys at the side of the pool with them until even the most reticent child can’t wait to get in the water and join their class.
I cannot say enough about this amazing swim school. Thank you thank you thank you!

Felix swim school has been amazing for all three of my children, we joined from the uk at ages 3, 8 and 10. This is our second year with the swim school. Our 3 year old has been a very reluctant and clingy to me swimmer and he is now swimming independently and loving his lessons. The older boys have also come on leaps and bounds in terms of their strokes and confidence. The admin team are always super helpful. I also love that all three of my children have been able to have their lessons at the same time. I cannot fault this swim school!

We can’t say enough good things about Felix’s Swim School! Both of our kids are enrolled, and the experience has been nothing short of amazing.
