What customers say about Acadia National Park

Acadia National Park was a feast for the senses! Some of the hikes were black diamond challenging and exhilarating.
Gorgeous drive around the Loop. With stops at several of the morr interesting places, plan on a good 3 - 4 hours with good weather, more if you will do some hiking.
They have removed all signs explaining the history of Indigenous peoples in that park. Perhaps they caved to the trump regime's war on "woke", which is code for racism. It's very disappointing, and a little like the genocide of Native Americans as if the government, again, wants to erase them from history. All national parks should make a stand to protect our history and natural resources.
Besides the masses of people, Acadia is exceptionally wonderful. My favorite national park for sure.
It is Heaven on Earth. There are no ugly scenes. Much of the water is clear, perhaps all of it. There are many mountains and trees. I went in the fall and there were flowers everywhere. The paths are clear and easy to walk. There are options for experienced hikers and novice as well. There are many bathrooms throughout the park. I like that most of the paths are lined with boulders. The only complaint I have is that it was difficult to park; there aren't enough parking spaces. I hope I get to visit again. It was beautiful beyond belief.
