I had an unforgettable motorbike adventure through Northern Vietnam.
The scenery, food, homestays, local people and riding were absolutely incredible. I visited places I never would have found on my own, including beautiful rural villages, mountain roads, Thác Bà Lake, Phù Yên and a White Thai village homestay. The whole experience gave me memories I will never forget.
Vietnam is a stunning country, and this trip showed me the real side of it — not just the tourist version. The food was amazing, the people were warm and welcoming, and the riding was a proper adventure.

Expected just a great ride through the country..... Ended up being an amazing intimate tour of Vietnam. The routes we took were breathtaking. Johny and Luu were amazing guides and knew the routes and terrain better than anyone. Pls reach out if you need more info.
Awesome motorcycle experience
My son and I did a 4 day tour with these guys and it could not of been better. From the quality of the bikes, the quality of the three authentic meals a day to the guides and the routes. Epic 7 day ride with Motorbike Tour Expert. Special mention has to go to our tour guide Kim. His guidance from the word go was second to none. Every day different and Kim listened and matched the ride to our abilities. His English and knowledge are exceptional. Home stays were a great experience eating with the families with plenty of great food washed down with the odd glass of rice wine!
Breath taking scenery with a few surprises thrown in by Kim. Bikes and gear supplied excellent. Iced beer supplied by waiting support vehicle. Cannot recommend it highly enough. Thank you for the life time memories and experience.

Amazing trip
Did the 8 days/7 night tour of Northern Vietnam (including the Ha Giang loop) with my dad and three other riders. Bikes were in great condition and working order. Accommodation along the way was pleasant with a mix of hotel and home stay. The lead guide Johnnie was a very skilled rider and knew the area well, taking us off of the main roads and through single track and bike path whenever possible. Would not have changed anything, will definitely book again for my next motorbike trip to Vietnam.

Honestly, this motorbike tour was one of the best things I did on my trip. Everything was super well organized, and from the start I felt totally safe and looked after. The route is amazing — beautiful scenery, quiet roads, and great stops along the way that feel really authentic. Being on the bike just makes the whole experience so much more fun and immersive. Big shoutout to the guides — they’re awesome. Great riders, super friendly, and always making sure everyone is having a good time. You can tell they really care. It’s a few intense days, but in the best way possible. I’d 100% recommend it to anyone thinking about it.
Wow - incredible experience
Did the 8 day/ 7 night Northern Vietnam tour. The tour was well planned and organized. Guides were knowledgeable and helpful and ensured that all our needs were met. Bikes were in great working Home stays were definitely a highlight. No support van but that was not an issue and perhaps made the tour better - pack accordingly
Can't stop thinking about this trip. I was extremely nervous because my dirt-biking skills aren't on par with the rest of my group (who chose the Expert level tour), and I wasn't sure what to expect from the "can't legally drive in Vietnam" angle since American IDPs aren't acceptable.
Ultimately, however, Chung assuaged my anxiety for navigating the legality of it all, and Anthony and Thui designed a combined alternative experience that allowed me to feel comfortable in the ride and still feel part of the group.
Every part of this trip was exhilarating. From the moment we left the shop spanning the five-day tour to the Mario-Cart-esque return trek through the crowded city, we were confronted with some new, sensational experience almost by the minute. Every riding surface, every stop for coffee or breath-taking view, every village with children or farm animals lining the path, every meal and homestay and hotel, every unique angle or perspective of a mountain or limestone cave was awesome in the truest sense of the word.
We brought a Cardo system with us to talk with each other and react in real-time to everything. Our discussions made the trip even that much more exciting because we each could immediately share something for the others to appreciate. (It also proved helpful for my mates to provide me tips on navigating and handling the upcoming terrain in tricky spots.)
I honestly can't believe the value of this trip. We received a small discount for booking multiple people, and the price included everything we needed. Further, what was included was exceptional quality. Anthony organized a spectacular riding route every day and always hooked us up with tasty, safe, interesting places to eat, guided by our preferences. Thui and Anthony both did an amazing job keeping us engaged and recording everything along the way in photos and videos (and drone footage!). And the homestays and hotels were incredible: friendly, warm, inviting, and culturally interesting. And the biggest value - of course - is the takeaway experience and memories. I've spent WAY more money on vacations that became nearly instantly forgettable.
If you're on the fence, I suggest you stop debating and sign up; you won't regret it. Vietnam Motorbike Tour Expert is experienced, extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and fun. They will tailor your challenge to your skill level and make you feel as safe and comfortable as you need. I can't imagine trying to run that loop without them as guides, and I believe your experience with them will be superlative in every way.

Everything was so well organized. He was flexible and adjusted the tour as necessary based on weather, our abilities, and interests.
We were lucky to also have Johnny's apprentice, Liu, as a sweep. He was so good. Such a fun, professional, and enthusiastic young man. As the more conservative and timid rider in the group, I spent a lot of time in the back with him. He did a great job navigating the complexities of riding with a stubborn American woman who refuses to ask for help. He learned to let me pickup my own bike but also was standing by to help me when I was stuck in the bamboo.
The homestays were my favorite part. The food was fantastic and we met amazing people.
The bikes were in good condition. If I were to do it again, I think I would select the XR 150 instead of the 300L. I am a smaller female rider and I think the reduced weight would have helped my confidence in some of the more exposed areas.
The experience was so much more authentic feeling and wasn't "dumbed down for tourists." This is the tour you book when you are looking for adventure. While we hit some of the tourist spots, most of our days were spent in very rural areas, eating where the locals eat, and meeting people who only occasionally see tourists when they pass through on these small specialty tours.
James (the booking manager) was also really great. He organized airport and hotel transfers. He booked a separate Halong Bay cruise for us. It was very helpful to have that all inclusive service.

We had an unfotgetable 10 days of motircycle trip adventure.
We had wonderful trip with spactacular views,off road challenges,goid hotels and homstaying(the majority were good),good drinks and food and of course very comfartable bikes for this kind of trip.
Our guide Tuan was proffessinal and friendly.
He assisted us with everything and was flexible to our level skill of driving.
The company representers were amazing also and help us with everything detail needed for the Trip.
The end of the trip was really unforgetable when they waited fir us with Hamburgers,cold beers and souveniers.they sat with us just to hear howxwas our trip.it was more then we expected and I strongly reccomand to have this amazing experience with them.
