I am writing to share my disappointment regarding the lack of basic first-aid and medical facilities at Akshardham.
Akshardham is such a large and well-managed temple complex, visited by thousands of people every day. However, when I recently visited with my daughter, she suddenly developed severe pain in her ear. Since we had already entered the premises after taking our tickets, I assumed that there would at least be a basic first-aid or medical facility available for visitors in case of an emergency.
I asked several staff members where I could get basic first aid or even a simple medicine such as paracetamol, but unfortunately, I was unable to find any such facility. I completely understand that Akshardham is not a hospital and that visitors do not expect medical treatment there. However, basic first-aid support is something that should be available at a place where such a large number of people gather every day.
Even something as simple as a first-aid box, bandages, basic pain relief, or assistance during a minor medical emergency could make a huge difference. Emergencies may not happen to everyone, but when they do, people should not be left helpless inside such a large premises.
I sincerely request the management to please look into this matter and consider providing at least a basic first-aid/medical assistance facility for visitors. It would be a very small but extremely meaningful step towards the safety and comfort of the people who visit Akshardham.
I am sharing this feedback with genuine concern and hope that it will be taken seriously and acted upon.
The drama with light/water show at 7:30 is the best 30 mins I have ever experienced. It’s a must watch. You can visit this place with anyone, a date here would also be nice. Do visit.
