I always take both my cat and dog to this vet. They always treat my animals with care, love and respect. Dr Hannah is particularly caring, especially when I needed to bring in my frenchie for an emergency. The staff are always kind, accomodating and will fit you in when needed. I am especially grateful that they call to check up on the animals for any ongoing issues. Thank you for always taking great care of my fur children!
This was a follow up check up with my 20 yo cat, Rosie.
Dr Bethany was, as usual, excellent.
She explains everything and is very thorough and very gentle with Rosie. She goes through options and answers my questions.
The reception and nurses are also friendly and welcoming.

From the moment I walked in, I felt truly cared for — both for myself and for my cat. The receptionist was incredibly kind and nice, which immediately put me at ease. The facilities are clean, calm, and very well equipped, making the whole visit feel smooth and stress-free.
The vet was gentle, attentive, knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything clearly, answering all my questions with patience and care. My cat was handled with so much tenderness, and that meant the world to me.
What could have been a stressful appointment turned into a genuinely positive experience. I’m deeply grateful for the professionalism and warmth of the entire team. Dr Paws is home to some of the kindest most compassionate Vets and Vet Nurses in the industry.
We do not live in the area, and bypass many local vets to travel to Altona to have our pups seen to.
It is so worth the extra bit of travel to have the care. They follow up after every visit and they are so sweet with our very nervous Cattle Dog and Deaf Border Collie. We love the care we receive from the whole team at Dr Paws ❤️
Absolutely stunning staff who helped my Lucy's leg heal after a pretty scary infection due to a different vet clinic. Dr paws' genuine care and attention to detail was something I've never seen with another vet. Absolutely everyone should bring their pets here as 11/10 care is guaranteed! Thank you so much :)
