Dr Mumtaz and her assistant Anna were very kind during my check-up/hygiene appointment. It doesn’t feel scary to go to the dentist at Dental Excellence; highly recommend them. Everything is incredibly clean and you are talked through how your appointment will go in a professional yet understandable manner. As a bonus, there is footage of ocean life playing on the telly in the waiting room. Turn off Capital Radio, though, pop Jazz FM on. Sometimes Danielle Perry plays Jamiroquai.

I had an excellent experience at Dental Excellence for my routine check-up and professional clean. From the moment I arrived, the entire team were warm, kind and polite, making me feel comfortable and well looked after. Everything was explained clearly throughout the appointment, and the dentist was professional, thorough and reassuring. My clean was carried out carefully, and I was extremely pleased with the results. The practice itself is modern, spotless and very welcoming, with a calm and relaxed atmosphere. It is also in a great, convenient location, with easy parking—which makes attending appointments completely stress-free. The whole experience was smooth and efficient from start to finish. I would highly recommend Dental Excellence to anyone looking for friendly, professional and high-quality dental care.

I rarely leave feedback but I felt compelled to on this occasion. We had such an excellent experience with Dr Morteza and I honestly cannot recommend him highly enough, particularly for children who may be apprehensive about visiting the dentist. From the moment we arrived, the whole team were incredibly warm and welcoming. The reception staff were so kind and friendly, which immediately helped put my children at ease. They also got given stickers which was definitely a bonus! Dr Morteza was absolutely brilliant with my daughter, who was particularly nervous. He was calm, reassuring and excellent at communicating with her. What impressed me most was the way he built trust. With children, especially anxious children, it is so important that they know what to expect and don’t feel that something unpleasant is suddenly going to happen without warning. He explained exactly what he was going to do before he did it and was completely honest with her throughout. He never told her one thing and then did something unexpected, and you could genuinely see her trust and confidence growing as the appointment went on. It made such a difference. Something she had been very apprehensive about became a really positive experience, and so much of her anxiety about going to the dentist has now disappeared. We still have the second part of her treatment to come, but instead of dreading going back, we feel completely reassured and are genuinely looking forward to seeing Dr Morteza and the team again. A fantastic dentist with a wonderful manner with children. Thank you to Dr Morteza and the whole team for making such a potentially stressful experience feel so calm and positive.

I've had a really positive experience at Dental Excellence. I initially came in wanting to improve my overall oral health and to also start Invisalign, and the care has been excellent throughout. Dr Morteza and Dr Mumtaz are both brilliant at explaining everything clearly, taking the time to talk through each stage and making sure I understand the options. I’ve felt very comfortable and well looked after at every appointment. Really pleased with the service so far and would highly recommend the practice.

Dr Rahul provided swift and efficient intervention to save a tooth. A clear treatment plan was outlined, creating smooth continuity of care. With admirable patience and skill, the treatment was completed, accommodating specific treatment needs along the way. DE’s approach is always patient centred and although this intervention was quite complicated in nature, I was made to feel comfortable and relaxed. No stones are left unturned in ensuring the care you receive is nothings short of the best.

The atmosphere inside is lovely, no only is is very well done up but the staff are all well spoken and kind. I was recommended this place after I had issues with tooth repair with my last dentist. Since coming here I’ve never had an issue! I’m normally seen by Dr. Mumtaz Awan who is firstly an amazing dentist and straight to the point, but easy to speak to and makes you feel comfortable which I personally used to struggle with whilst visiting the dentist. All in all they provide a great experience and it’s worth every penny.
