The absolute best Dental experience I’ve ever had.. my first visit was in 2024. For some reason, I went to another dentist and IMMEDIATELY CAME BACK to Dr. Barnes and Dr. Patel. Every detail in this office is expertly curated for the patient experience, and they care about more than just your teeth. Take it from me, they are the best dental office in the DFW Metro!!

I would recommend that anyone with BCBS verify this office's network status directly with their insurance before scheduling an appointment.
When I scheduled my September 2026 appointment, I specifically asked whether Dental Concepts was in-network with BCBS. I was told, “we take BCBS.” Based on that response, I understood that the office was in-network with my BCBS plan.
After my appointment, I received a very large out-of-pocket bill. I contacted BCBS directly and confirmed that Dental Concepts is out-of-network for my plan. BCBS also confirmed that I would have paid significantly less had I gone to an in-network provider.
During the visit, I also agreed to additional treatments, including multiple sealants, which ultimately contributed substantially to the cost. In hindsight, I wish the treatment and expected insurance coverage had been explained more clearly before I agreed to the additional procedures, and I would have sought a second opinion before proceeding.
I ultimately paid nearly $1,000 out of pocket for the visit. My biggest concern is that I specifically asked about being in-network and received an answer that led me to believe the office was in-network when it was not.
If you have BCBS, I strongly recommend checking the BCBS app and confirming that both the dentist and office location are in-network before receiving treatment. I will be using an in-network provider going forward.

I cannot thank Dr. Patel and her amazing assistant, Paula, enough! I had quite a few gaps between my teeth(a lot 🤣🤣🤣)and they did an incredible job closing every single one. I’m so happy with my results and truly grateful for their work. They have made such a big difference in my smile, and I couldn’t be more thankful! I speak French but they take their time listen all my concerns with my broken English.
The treatment is a little pricey, especially since I don’t have dental insurance, but the quality of their work and the overall experience make it worth it. The office is spotless, the atmosphere is relaxing, and the whole experience feels like being at a spa rather than a dental office!
I also want to give a special shout-out to Olivia at the front desk. She always has a wonderful attitude, greets me with a smile, and makes me feel comfortable and welcome every time I visit. Her positive energy really makes a difference!

Kieu was one of the best hygienist I have ever had. She was so easy to talk to and she made me comfortable during my whole stay. The doctors were also very welcoming and made me feel good about my teeth. And as someone who has never had braces I appreciated the compliments on my straight teeth lol
I also appreciated how they worked with me and my insurance in the middle of it. If it weren’t for the little dip in time with the insurance company this appointment took about an hour and that included the X-ray, cleaning and exam. :)
