Caio and his crew were wonderful. So easy to work with, this was full service to the max and the epitome of professionalism. We have no hesitation in recommending this Atlantic Ave, Downtown Brooklyn venue as an optimal spot for you to consider when looking for a wedding/event venue for your special occasions; great catering, a beautiful space and friendly, relaxed and responsive staff. Planning our wedding from overseas seemed risky, but Caio and the Deity Events team made it effortless. They guided us through every step despite the time difference and never once made us feel like we were planning from thousands of miles away. The downtown Brooklyn space with its New York skyline views was even more stunning in person than we imagined. We needed very little additional decorations to make it what we wanted, because the space itself is so perfect. The Bridal Suite and rooftop were amazing, my husband and I had a BLAST getting ready with our friends. Their full-service approach meant we could actually relax instead of stressing about details, and the staff on our wedding day were attentive, thoughtful and kind. They provided extra decorations where needed, let us set up the day before, and provided space for our rehearsal dinner. For the quality and care you get, the value is unbeatable—highly recommend.

We couldn’t be happier that we chose Deity Events for our wedding!! From day one, the team was transparent about pricing, responsive to every question, and made the entire planning process feel remarkably stress-free.
The rates were incredibly reasonable, especially considering how much was included. Aside from dessert, photography, and flowers, nearly everything was handled, which made budgeting simple and straightforward. Every other option we had looked at had so many hidden fees, it was overwhelming. The venue itself is so beautiful and full of character that we didn’t feel the need to add anything extra. We also rented the getting-ready loft and rooftop for the day, which gave us so much flexibility and made the whole day so easy and enjoyable. And the food was amazing!!!
Every detail of the space felt thoughtful and polished, and the team genuinely cared about making our celebration special. We are so grateful we chose Deity and cannot recommend it highly to couples looking for a stunning, elegant venue where they can truly enjoy their special night stress-free!
This was my first time serving as a Rabbi for a ceremony at Deity and I surely hope it will not be my last. What an absolutely lovely venue and truly fantastic team. The family and I could not have been better taken care of by each and every member of the Deity staff. Of particular interest for me is the building’s history as a former synagogue building. It felt like I was doing a historical “right” by leading a ceremony within that space, once again.
As soon as we visited the space and met with Caio, we knew that Deity would give us everything we wanted in a wedding. We loved that Deity takes care of pretty much all the wedding planning since they provide the catering, bar service, linens, dinnerware, a lot of the décor (pillar candles, and the arch that just needs to be decorated by your florist), a very helpful day-of coordinator, and even the awesome MC/DJ! We liked having different levels for each part of the night because it made the dancing portion feel like a party at a Brooklyn club rather than a wedding! Our DJ/MC was so nice and even arranged a call before the wedding to go over our questionnaire on song preferences. He really wanted to understand the vibe we were going for with the music and dancing, and he totally nailed it! I definitely recommend Deity to anyone looking to have a unique, fun, and trendy Brooklyn wedding with stress-free planning!
We had our wedding here early April, and it was flawless!! The guest suite for getting ready in was the selling point for me - the rooftop has a cold plunge and hot tub! We had a great time hanging out there before the wedding. The food was amazing, everyone commented on how great the salmon was. Some of my friends said the drinks were incredible, too. I got so many comments on how cool and unique the venue was, moving between each floor for each phase of the wedding. Everything is done in house, so the team at Deity has the flow of the day perfect. Had such a special day!!!
We got married in October 2025 at Deity Events in downtown Brooklyn, and our experience was nothing short of magical. From the very first moment we toured the space in spring 2024, we knew it was the one. The venue is stunning — modern yet warm, with gorgeous architectural details and an effortlessly chic vibe that feels both elevated and welcoming.
Deity is truly a dream for couples planning a wedding in NYC. They host weddings from 50 to 150 guests, and we chose their 50-person micro wedding package. Their pricing is transparent and incredibly reasonable for NYC — packages range from $12K–$18K, and we added their breathtaking bridal suite for an additional $3,000, which was worth every penny. The suite is spectacular: two bathrooms, a shower, a full kitchen, a balcony, incredible photography space, a huge sleigh bed, a stunning tub, luxe velvet and leather furniture, exposed brick, and access to a rooftop with a hot tub and cold plunge. It made our wedding morning feel like a luxury retreat and gave us the most beautiful getting-ready photos.
What really sets Deity apart is that they are fully all-inclusive and tip-free, which made planning so much less stressful. They handled coat check, bartenders, staffing, a day-of coordinator, DJ/MC, room transitions between floors, passed appetizers, a excellent, generous family style seated dinner, and a full bar with fantastic food and drinks. They also offer beautiful decor basics including a gorgeous hexagon arch, candles, mirrors, table numbers, linens, chairs, and all flatware. This allowed us to personalize the day with our own invites, florals, attire, officiant, dessert, and additional vendors without feeling overwhelmed.
Our coordinator was absolutely phenomenal — calm, organized, and truly invested in making our day perfect. The owner, Caio, was lovely, warm, and incredibly professional throughout the entire process. We had several planning meetings, a detailed walk-through, and many email exchanges, and we always felt supported and at ease. We also loved the group tasting experience they offered with other couples getting married that month — it was such a thoughtful and fun touch.
All in, we were able to have our entire wedding in downtown Brooklyn for around $35K — about $20K to the venue and $15K for extras — which felt like an incredible value for the level of service, quality, and beauty we received.
Location-wise, Deity is unbeatable. Being so close to Barclays Center meant there were at least seven hotels within a seven-minute walk, making it super convenient for our out-of-town guests.
The flexibility to bring in our own vendors (outside of food and alcohol) made the entire process smooth, creative, and joyful. Truly, the whole experience was seamless from start to finish.
I would choose Deity Events a thousand times over and can only highly recommend for other couples to choose Deity so they can have an equally incredible experience.
We got married on October 25, 2025, and choosing Deity was one of the best decisions we’ve ever made. We wanted our wedding to feel like Brooklyn - a little chic, a little charming, both unconventional and elegant - and Deity couldn’t have been a more perfect vibe and atmosphere. The all-inclusive package made planning the whole event a piece of cake. Caio, the owner, was really good about communication through the entire process (which was almost 2 years for us!), and the planning meetings we had were thorough and super organized. With 105 guests, the space felt pleasantly full but never over crowded.
The food and drinks were delicious and abundant and the chef was great about working with our guests’ allergies and dietary restrictions. The salmon and short rib were great entree choices, and we loved every single appetizer we picked for cocktail hour (we still dream about those potatoes). Dinner service was prompt, efficient, and we witnessed Caio checking in on all the tables to make sure they had enough to eat throughout the whole night. Deity did a great job of batch prepping drinks, they fulfilled our signature cocktail request perfectly, plus the watermelon margaritas that were waiting for us on the dance floor were strong and delicious!
Deity has the flow of weddings perfected. We both work in theater so our standards of good event planning are high, and Deity exceeded our expectations! At first glance, it may seem like a challenge to move a large number of guests between three different floors on a tight schedule, but the team manages it so well. They know exactly how to make each transition as smooth as possible, so no moment felt like people were being rushed into the next space or waiting too long for the next part of the night. They also did an excellent job helping with our older guests and guests with mobility issues - we had been nervous about the stairs between floors going in, but the staff was a huge help with making sure that everyone felt safe and comfortable traversing them.
We also highly recommend booking the getting ready suite. We did and it was so good having a home base for us to get ready, eat, have families and friends hang out, and take many photos before the ceremony started (plus there’s a hot tub on the roof)!
We felt incredibly well taken care of all day by Caio, Anastasia, and Matthew, and our guests have told us how great of an experience they had as well. We loved our Brooklyn fairy tale wedding at Deity and we’re so grateful to the Deity team for supporting our vision of our day!
“It was a meaningful family event and we truly enjoyed it. The only issue was needing to go up and down a very steep set of stairs between levels, which wasn’t pleasant. I do wish the venue’s layout had been designed a bit better.
We had the best night of our lives here!!! Our wedding (~110 ppl) was AMAZING all thanks to the amazing staff at Deity!! The superstars of the night - Matthew, Janellee (sp?), DJ Jon Divine, Chef, everyone who’s name escapes me - and most of all CAIO! Our guests raved about the food, about the orchestration of the ceremony, about the music, about the layout with the floors. Our friends were thrilled with the bridal suite area and the hot tub (prospective couples: I literally cannot recommend this enough).
I had a blast getting married obviously, but I also had a blast working with Caio and Matthew to execute this vision that was years in the making. And on the day of my wedding, it was just letting myself be ushered from place to place, and enjoying the night and the love from my friends and family. I would get married here EVERY year if that made sense!!
Our wedding at Deity was exactly what we had envisioned. Having been to loads of weddings held in standard banquet halls or ballrooms, we were looking for a “non-traditional” venue that stood out, and Deity did exactly that.
Working with Anastasia and Caio was the most seamless process that we could have hoped for. They were both extremely accommodating, understanding, and willing to work with us to ensure that the day went exactly as we had planned. We had a few unconventional requests, which were welcomed wholeheartedly and executed on flawlessly.
The service and food throughout the night were amazing, with a few of our guests saying that it was the best wedding food they have ever had.
