My teeth have never been better. None of my brackets broke (even when I ate some foods I wasn't allowed to), and the staff are super generous, and they will do anything to fix a problem. I would 10/10 recommend this orthodontist.
Buchart and Wachs is a wonderful practice- from the front desk to the doctors’ themselves! I refer patients to them and they take care of my 3 children. I would highly recommend.
BEWARE !!!!!!!! Very amusing in these reviews that someone States wait times are short, everything is by appointment. They must have cut and paste in somebody else's review and put it on here. Beware of these people, I still have cement on my teeth but I'm going to let Scott Smith remove for me. He was my referral to this god-awful place can't wait to fill him in on my experience.
I had an appointment this morning at 8:30, stood at the front desk for 12 minutes. No one acknowledge me, nine people the waiting room. The girls were in the back talking about some other employee that couldn't get to work that they had to send money to. No concern of any of the patients time, made no effort to come and acknowledge anyone.. I walked out the door, and so did another customer we talked in the parking lot in very dissatisfied! For the money I prepaid up front, I really expected a lot more than this. A small box of plastic for $4,000!

We walked out the door at 8:38, overhearing your all's entire conversation I can't imagine how it took your entire staff to send some co-worker $5 for gas. Because that's what she was asking for, when you stack 10 appointments at one time it costs your customers money to sit and wait! When your staff becomes more important than your customers, you've lost the game!!!!

We deeply regret the experience you have shared. It is true that our team had a member with a personal crisis today, and our troubleshooting for her and coming to her aid put our normal start time of 8:30 out to 8:35. We acknowledge that we failed all 8:30 patients in our effort to help our team member in need, and we can certainly do better in terms of timing and communication. We thank you for your feedback.
UPDATED: Hi Shane - please note that we did reply to your previous grievances and we again sincerely apologize for being late for our 8:30 appointments that morning. We do acknowledge that we can and do schedule more than one person at a given time slot as with any healthcare office with multiple exam rooms and assistants. Our goal is to be on time for every appointment - we value our patients time as much as they value ours. Sometimes situations arise where an appointment takes longer than anticipated in order to provide quality care and unfortunately it does end up putting the schedule behind. Every now and then we are going to be the practice that runs behind in an effort to give our people the best we have to offer and give them the time and quality care they deserve. On this particular day one of our assistants needed our help and our team members are our family- after addressing the situation we were unfortunately running behind five minutes and did everything possible to get the schedule back on time.
Continuing to harass a small business only crushes our ability to provide care in this community. We deeply care for the families that we treat, and we believe our services are reflective of that. We kindly ask you to stop leaving fake 1 star reviews and not threaten us with more. Your initial complaints were registered and responded to... if there is something more you want from us please contact our office directly.

Great experience with our kids at Buchart & Wachs!
As a local general dentist with 35 years of experience working with different specialists, I have found both Dr Buchart and Dr Wachs to be excellent in every way. They really finish their cases nicely which is one of the most difficult aspects of orthodontics and many times is overlooked. I have sent my family and many of my patients there, always with great results. I would highly recommend them to anyone. Thank you guys!!

I have been a patient of Buchart and Wachs for right at a year! I am older and was nervous about adult orthodontia, I have a difficult bite- a crossed underbite, which I've been told in previous consultations that I'm going to need surgery. I absolutely did not want to pursue that so I got a second opinion from Dr. Wachs, immediately she said "This isn't a bone issue, its a teeth issue and we can fix it with braces." I just looked at her and said, "Where do I sign?" and that was that. Fast forward to a year later and I'm already out of my braces and my teeth are perfect. I never knew it could be this easy, they offer payment plans, they are amazing to work with, I never had to wait longer than about 5 min for my appointments. 10/10 experience that I encourage anyone who wants to fix their smile or get rid of jaw pain to look into.
Always gets me in promptly for my appointments and I am there a lot with several kids in braces. Kids appointments always go quickly and the staff is very pleasant.

I had an amazing experience here at the Frankfort location and don’t understand the negative reviews. The staff was friendly, attentive, and always made me feel welcome. Wait times were short, and they explained my Invisalign thoroughly. I was never pressured to pay in full upfront, just the required deposit for the aligners to be created, and they even offer a monthly payment plan for the remainder of your balance. I highly recommend this practice. They also have a location in Lexington, and the reviews there show the same excellent care.

During consultation, I was told my retainer will last me up to 4 years, but after few months they started cracking. I contacted the office and went thinking they gonna fix the problem, to my surprise I was told to pay the full price plus shipping, which sum up $420. In my previous visit, I overheard a lady complaining about her retainer being cracked so I know I'm not the only one having this issue. I didn't even wear it 1 years let alone 4 or 5 years. Just a reap off.

It’s important to note that, as with most orthodontic practices, retainers are not guaranteed to last a specific number of years. Unfortunately, no orthodontic appliances are indestructible or included for life, and replacement costs are standard in the industry.

Very dysfunctional organization! Staff seems confused, do not pay them upfront. They seem to really push that on people, there’s many other options to get Invisalign from a provider, you can truly trust! That is not these people……….

I had a great experience here at Buchart & Wachs! It was my first time here and everybody was very professional, very friendly, super accommodating, and welcoming. The orthodontist took time to hear why I was there and they even fit me into the schedule for a repair although I was not already on the schedule. They seemed very thoughtful about the entire thing and I could tell that they truly care about their work and their clients!! thank u!!

We’ve had a great experience here with my daughter’s Invisalign. We had a couple of consult appointments before she came in to get her trays, and everything was explained carefully and thoroughly. They had us schedule several appointments in advance, which was convenient.
They have been friendly and professional and respectful of our time: we never have to wait more than a minute or so after checking in. Once, a rubber band connector fell off my daughter’s tooth, and they were able to get her right in to reapply it. My toddler also appreciates the movies they play in the waiting room, too.
I would recommend this practice to anyone!
