This is a great practice. The setting is calm and reassuring; the entire staff is competent and professional. I've been a patient of Dr. Montoya's for more than 20 years, before he opened BDD in 2008. His periodontist, Dr. Pearl Lai, is equally capable. The office administrator is knowledgeable and personable. Can't recommend Dr. Montoya too highly.
My second appt and I am VERY impressed. Professional x 10

I continue to be a huge supporter of Boulder Dental Designs. As always, my appointment was right on time, I received a thorough exam and analysis of the current state of my teeth, and my teeth cleaning was performed by an extremely competent hygienist. A great experience all around!!

If you have sleep apnea and are looking for an alternative to CPAP, I highly recommend Dr. John Montoya and his staff at Boulder Dental Designs. He has state-of-the art equipment for testing and creating oral appliances that are highly effective. I had a follow-up sleep study while wearing the oral device Dr. Montoya made for me. The study showed that I had zero apneas (none) the entire night while wearing the oral appliance. After such great results on my sleep study, my pulmonologist fully supports me using the oral appliance made by Dr. Montoya.

They lied and said I needed a deep cleaning. Worst dentist I've ever been too! Stay away!

I enjoyed conversing with Lauren the Dental Assistant who cleaned my teeth. She was professional and fun to interact with. Dr. Montoya handled an unexpected issue with my crown and I was on my expediently and my teeth and gums feel great. Thank you!
