One of the best decisions of my life getting the band out of my body. From the very first time I scrolled on IG and saw dr Dovec surgery raffle I was locked in. Then to get my benefits guide call the care coordinator and her name came up. The consultation was amazing. I did my required stuff so dang quick! I was READY to get it out and move forward . I’m still early on in my journey but I’m so grateful. I had so much inflammation pre surgery my body was in fight mode because of the trauma from the twisted band. Just like Dr Dovec told me, my inflammation significantly improved since the removal of the band. I’m feeling better & Looking better. The team at Body by Bariatrics is AMAZING. Can’t wait to take updated pics in a few months. Thank you Body by Bariatrics. You saved my life LITERALLY!

The pre-op communication and scheduling is outstanding. After the first virtual meeting with Dr. Lane everything I need to prepare and all the information necessary to get me to the second and final virtual meeting is sent electronically and ready for me to complete and move forward.

It was fate
I originally started to enter a raffle for surgery. I was afraid of what pics they might choose. But I got a letter in the mail saying certain surgeries were 100% covered I called and Dr Dovec was the 1st surgeon on the list! My coordinator set up a consultation and I knew I was ready. I was so excited. I’m 3 weeks out from a Lapband to by pass. She literally saved my life by removing the lapband. I can hardly wait to see what this time next year will look like. The Body by Bariatrics Team are very helpful and guide you through EVERYTHING. Thank you Dr Dovec and Body by Bariatrics Team!

I recently had gastric bypass surgery with Dr. Dovec, and I could not be happier with my experience.
From the very beginning, Dr. Dovec was professional, caring, friendly, and straight to the point. I had already decided that surgery was the right choice for me, and her entire team worked efficiently to make sure everything was completed in a timely manner.
I have Medicaid, and I was honestly amazed that within just two weeks, all of my appointments, testing, and requirements were completed so I could move forward with surgery. The process was smooth and well organized.
When I first saw Dr. Dovec on Instagram, I saw more than just a surgeon. I saw someone who genuinely loves what she does and is extremely confident in her work. Meeting her in person confirmed that impression. She made me feel comfortable and reassured me that I was in very good hands.
I highly recommend Dr. Dovec to anyone considering bariatric surgery. Be sure to do your research when choosing a surgeon, but I can confidently say that choosing Dr. Dovec was one of the best decisions I have ever made.
