This is more of a preliminary review, as I haven't had my procedure yet but I can say that so far this experience has been awesome! They are very communicative, they answer all your questions honestly and not just tell you what you want to hear. Dr. Dovek has been phenomenal so far. I am looking forward to my procedure!
Talking with them and getting the information I needed is so easy! I also love that you can text them with anything! Dr.Dovec was the best she explain the difference between the sleeve and bypass so well! So I already have my date to get my procedure done! I would chose this office over and over again
They deserve no stars, honestly. Initially, BodybyBariatrics seemed great. And they are. If you're an easy patient. If you don't have any gut related problems after surgery. If you don't mind them charging your insurance for services and procedures they never performed.
Dovec calls her new center, the Endoscopy and Surgery Center...yet they wanted me to go 2 hours away from my home to have some strange doctors I've never seen do one. But, I had to call these doctors myself. It wasn't even a referral. After gaslighting me over my valid medical concerns. They abandoned me when I needed them.
I'm a year out from my surgery 7/3, and have had no contact from them to schedule labs, my follow up appointment, or even ask if I'm still alive.
I can't even get another bariatric team to take over my care because of Dovec.
I can barely eat most days. Hardly able to tolerate anything at all, but they don't care.
It's taken me months to get the courage to write this review because I suffer from extreme medical related anxiety and PTSD, which they knew of prior to surgery.
I'm happy I had my surgery done. I believe Dovec and Lane are incredibly talented surgeons, but their treatment of me is inexcusable. I didn't go into all the details, but they're aware of how they've treated me.
Dr. Dovek and all the team at Body By Bariatrics have been fantastic. They are right there with any questions or issues you may have and they are such a nice group! I like the all women practice too. They do not make you feel bad about yourself, they are focused on how great you will look and feel in the days, weeks, months, and years to come. I am so glad my Dr recommended them!!
I had my consultation on 6/16 and my gastric bypass surgery is scheduled for 8/14. I cannot be more excited! Dr Dovec and her team have been so incredibly helpful with answering questions and being transparent from the very first appointment. i’m actually excited for the rest of my appointments leading up to surgery and finally changing my life for the better! I wouldn’t trust ANYONE else to do this surgery on me. can’t wait!!!!
Dr.Dovec and Erisa has made this process so easy for me. Dr. Dovec explained everything in detail and put me at ease for the surgery. Erisa set everything up so quickly and was there to answer any questions I had about appointments. Thanks for putting me first for my journey! I can’t wait until my surgery!
