I would highly recommend Dr. Elizabeth Dovec at Body by Bariatrics LLC. I recently had my consultation with Dr. Dovec, and what stood out to me the most was how she truly took the time to listen to me, my story, my concerns, and the reasons why I want to have bariatric surgery.
I was starting to lose hope, but after speaking with Dr. Dovec, I left my consultation feeling hopeful and excited about this new journey. She was very professional, caring, understanding, and an amazing listener. She made me feel heard and comfortable discussing my concerns.
The staff has also been wonderful and very professional. They communicate with you by text, phone, and email and help guide you through the process so you know what steps need to be completed.
I still have steps to finish before surgery, but I already feel that I am in good hands. I can't wait to complete this process and begin this new chapter of my life.

Just did my surgery by Dr.Lane and I couldn’t be happier with my choice. The beginning process also was great.
6months after surgery: feeling fabulous and already lost 70 lbs. If I had to start from zero I’ll pick Body by Bariatrics all over again.

I am so grateful that my journey to surgery lead to the BodyByBariatrics team! Dr. Lane did a wonderful job. It is evident that everyone, from the medical team to the office team, each put their whole heart into this practice. I am truly thankful everyday for this life-saving procedure. This process is SO worth it. After many years of struggles, my swelling is finally gone, I have energy again, and my labs are so much better! The process was very smooth
I had some bumps in the road to begin with but everything turned out great and I’m down 71 pounds as of today my surgery was on April eighth. Very pleased
I had gastric bypass and sleeve reduction, no complications, recovery has been great, still losing weight as it's been one year so far. Body by bariatric has made communication with the staff easy, pleasant, and always at my finger tips.
Don't trust, Hidden Fees!
I had my initial consult which it says in my subscription that the first consult is included. I was charged $774 for that visit. When Dr.Lane herself knew I was a self pay patient because my insurance didn't cover the meds. Dr. Lane also told me the initial consult was covered by my insurance but there was a special and the charge was only $75 for initial consultation! I was then told to make a second appointment to just see how it was going with the meds. This telehealth visit was probably about 5-8 minutes long and she again charged my Insurance $198!
This is all after paying $250 for meds and paying the subscription fee! Be very careful who you choose for these services. I was NEVER told of ANY of these charges. They are sneaky and only out for money.
Not only that but, once the Dr. knew I wasn't interested in the bariatric surgery and only the medicine part she barely had time to speak to me. All they want is the surgeries and the money. Stay away!

All I can say is wow! why haven't I done this sooner! With my jobs insurance only took about about 8-10 weeks from consultation to surgery. Dr. Lane and the surgeon team are amazing, this procedure literally saved my life! I absolutely recommend getting your bariatric surgery here, plus you have a lifelong team you can contact via call/text for anything. Big shout out to Amber the PA as well!!

I had my year check up with amber. She's very sweet and though. Body by bariatric is a wonderful supportive group of professionals. I highly recommend them for your wieght loss journey.
Dr. Dovec has me so excited for my surgery! She is amazing. The energy is calming and uplifting at the same time.
Edit to add: just had my surgery bypass on 8/28. The entire team was amazing. Honestly, Dr Lane and Dr Dovec are so comforting. The nurses are exceptional! They comforted me all the way through pre op and post op. I was provided with so much love and warmth. You can tell they love what they do. I would never choose another location for bariatric surgery and I will be telling everyone about this location. Don’t think twice about them just do it!

This experience has been the absolute best! Dr. Dovec and her entire team treat you like family. They genuinely care about you and you feel as if you are the only patient. I have never been hurried along or dismissed. They answer every question with care. You will not find a better team. Having surgery gave me a second chance at life. My only regret is that I wish I had found her sooner!
