Decent food and service, nothing special. Looks really cool from outside and the inside has a nice atmosphere. Very short menu and service is somewhat slow, though attentive. Mostly regular items for brunch with a few surprises, like the duck burger. All four of us on our table ordered that. It was good and unique, and worth trying. Just wish the menu was longer or at least, more varied, for brunch. Duck dishes and cocktails are on the expensive side but other stuff is about as expected.

4/24/26 OK. So. We’ve updated this rating. The horseradish on the buckwheat risotto was pleasantly surprising and they made the dish completely vegan for me, which was awesome. The risotto was not al dente but I was not suffering lack of delicious mushrooms so…I’ll call it a wash there. 😉
The cocktail my husband and I shared was good/slightly medicinal but whiskey/chartreuse will kinda give that so. Yeah.
My husband had the duck burger and thought it was very rich and also “it was a good duck burger”. So there’s that. He’s going to try the beef burger “next time”, so we’ll be back. 😁

The only reason I gave this place a 3 instead of a 4 is because I did read the “owner’s” response to a 1 star review before posting this and I was disappointed in the lack of empathy expressed for the person who left the review and the snarkiness of the response of the “owner “. I hope that this review is taken into consideration With the understanding that the intention is to provide feedback that is hopefully helpful, as I do not want good restaurants going out of business! And I think this is a good restaurant. 🙂
My partner and I had a pretty impatient server during our dinner. This server seemed annoyed and unhappy to be working, and this was communicated through exceptionally slow service and quick snarky responses to some of our questions. There were others who were getting their food before us even though they came in after us, which was a real bummer to see.
I am vegan and had the mushroom terrine (I think this is what it is called anyway!). It was really delicious. I had the cocktail that had dill in it, and the dill flavor was super interesting, but the cocktail itself was way too sweet and I couldn’t finish it. My partner had the duck and said that the dish was a little bland. We both enjoyed the cauliflower, however!
I am so happy to have a place that has a really nice vegan option! We hope to be back and perhaps have a better experience with the service.

Absolutely delicious duck burger! Made my afternoon into a more comforting one. The execution on detail with the harvati cheese and pickles and onions makes this burger a “moment of bliss” thanks for the great sandwich. If your close stop by and try!

Great neighborhood spot with a full bar and delicious/versatile menu! Classy joint where you can go full fine dining or stick with casual burger vibes. Loving the BBQ on Monday nights and Friday fish fry. Highly recommend!
