Bilby Tours created a personalized Yarra Valley Winery Tour for our small group at a reasonable price. They were wonderful to deal with and the driver Richard made our day great. We went to the Yarra Valley Chocolaterie, two wineries (one for lunch) and a brewery. It was so well organized. Would use again in a heartbeat.

Great Experience
Everything was great. Max (the owner) was ready waiting for us at the hotel at the agreed time. The vehicle was comfortable and safe. When we arrived at Lake Mountain it was snowing, so very fortunate. The snow experience was great, loved the toboggan and building a snowman. And stopped at a chocolate factory in the Yarra Valley on the return drive. Highly recommend for those wishing to experience the snow. though not for those wanting to ski unless you know there has been heavy snowfall. I have no problems with using Bilby Travel again in the future.

It was worth every penny. We traveled as a large group of 11, spanning several generations from 2 to 80 years old. Max was an understanding and fair guide; he was easy to talk to and very open-minded. He provided a wealth of information and remained professional yet friendly throughout the trip. A few highlights that really stood out: Proactive Service: He took care of all our luggage without us even having to ask. Great with Kids: He truly understands the needs of children, which made our family trip much smoother. Expert Planning: He had a clear understanding of the local weather patterns. Best ever tour
We had the pleasure of being part of the Most wonderful private tour on Friday along the Great Ocean Road to the spectacular 12 Apostles. Our driver Richard was a SUPERSTAR! He was so entertaining and caring and he really made our whole trip a once in a lifetime experience - and he exceeded our expectations at every opportunity!!!! Disappointing day
We were at the parking area from 9 am. We only had our booking reference as no wifi at the wharf. We talked to all the tour drivers in the area to check if we were with them. One looked at the paper we had but indicated she didnt know the tour operator. After an hour we went back to the info centre on the wharf and aa volunteer kindly contacted Bilby who was doing the Small group tour. we were told to take a taxi to meet them at 11 am at a specific spot. Over $50 for the taxi. When the van arrived it was the sane people that we had been talking earlier; So we missed half of the tour which was what we had been wanting to see. If we didn/t catch up we would lose our bur money. Rather disappointing and hard when you are over 80. Why didn't they check their list like the other operators!!!!

We completely understand how frustrating that must have felt.To help clarify what happened from our side:- We sent you the driver’s contact number and vehicle registration details via Viator two days before the tour. As we didn’t receive a response, we re-sent the same information via Messenger the day before.- The booking was made under your spouse’s name. When you introduced yourself at the pickup point, your name wasn't on our passenger list, and unfortunately, we didn't link you to the booking at that time.- We understand you asked the driver if this was the “Melbourne Sightseeing Tour company.” As our business name is Bilby Tours, the driver answered honestly that we are not a company by that name. The tour product name and the company name are different, which understandably caused confusion on the spot.- When you called us, and we realised what had happened, we immediately offered to let you join the tour at 11 am. While you missed the first hour, the full tour lasts approximately 4 hours, so it was not half the experience.We genuinely regret that this mix-up impacted the start of your day. In hindsight, we agree that we could have been even more proactive in helping identify you sooner. At the same time, the different booking name and lack of access to the pre-tour messages left us with very limited information to match you to the correct vehicle at the Pier.We truly appreciate your feedback, as it helps us improve our communication and procedures to prevent similar situations in the future. We hope that despite the difficult beginning, you were still able to enjoy the remainder of the tour.

Great tour but didn’t seem better than a group tour
We booked the private tour thinking that it would provide flexibility. The tour was very good, but also followed a very specific itinerary. While we highly recommend the tour, we wish our guide had listened more to our requests for what to see. We could have skipped the lighthouse and some of the other quick stops along the way. Part of the reason we chose the private tour was because we’d read others’ reviews of more customized tours. Our favorite stop was the very last one, which was just past the twelve apostles. Seeing the kangaroos was amazing!Our guide was very friendly and worked hard to give us a great experience.
