Although a small practice at present, I was really pleased to have moved from my previous vets. Staff are so lovely and everything is explained thoroughly. Also, they are not money orientated which similar vets seem to be.

As soon as I entered the door to reception I felt a more personal caring approach to myself and my dog. My dog has been with another vet practice since she was a puppy and although i had no problem with them, there was just that 'corporate feel' which made me feel less of a human and just more of just another 'paying customer'. So thankyou Beacon Vets for bringing that personal touch back.

We were on holiday in Cornwall and noted the closest emergency vets just it case it was needed, on this occasion it was and everyone was amazing with our dog Bailey! Answered all our questions, was gentle and careful as he is a nervous boy, full examination and gave different advice for a few different issues we had. We also have used vets before that try and force treatment options to get more money but there was none of that here. If we were local we would move our dog here! Thank you 😊

Rude staff, went in to pick up some medication and was made to wait while the receptionist hoovered (I was the only customer). This was also after the receptionist being rude to my partner on a previous visit, will not be using again and can see why they are empty. Looking at other reviews I would suggest they are purchasing positive reviews rather than achieving themselves.

I contacted Beacon VetCare on a Sunday afternoon when my Cavapoo developed a very painful ear whilst we were holidaying in Portreath. Jodi who took my call was super helpful in reassuring me that they would be able to assess him and booked an appointment for around 90 mins later giving me clear directions to the centre. On arrival we were seen straight away by the vet Jasmine who again was very reassuring and informative. She arranged to sedate and examine Dougal immediately and would call me within an hour and a half with an update. The team extracted a large piece of wheat from my dogs ear close to the ear drum which was causing the pain but apart from some small scratches in his ear canal he was good to go with some meds and we were able to collect him shortly afterwards. He's made a full recovery, the costs were extremely reasonable and I can't thank the Beacon team enough. I highly recommend them should you need emergency vet services in the area.
