I’ve been going there since it first opened years ago. Last two times I was disappointed. Quite high price for the ‘5 tacos’ deal. Last two times the tacos were a bit soggy and cold.
Absolutely loved our experience at Ay Caramba, Eh! The food was fresh, flavourful, and really well prepared, with generous portions and that authentic Mexican comfort-food feel.
What really stood out to us was the atmosphere and décor. The rustic wood throughout the restaurant gives it a warm, casual vibe, and all the Mexican themed details add so much character. We especially loved the luchador masks on display such a cool touch and something you don't see at every Mexican restaurant. The artwork, colourful accents, and décor make the whole place feel fun and unique rather than like a typical chain restaurant.
The staff were also friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Great food, great atmosphere, and lots of personality. Definitely a hidden gem in Vaughan and a place we'll be coming back to. Highly recommend!
I would give this restaurant 6/5 stars if I could. We had birria nachos and they had some of the best nachos topped with high quality ingredients. The tacos were soft corn tortillas with very flavourful meats and veggies (we had carnitas, fish, and campechano tacos). Their horchata drink was pure flavour and not diluted at all. The churros were hot and fresh and the salt brought out the cinnamon sugar. For spice lovers, you must try their salsa macha fuego.

Loved the food, service was okay, total turn off to have a plastic sheet on my plate under the food, all because they likely dont want to wash the dishes at the end. The dish wasnt necessarily finger food so i was shredding thru plastic while trying to cut it. The tacos were pretty good. High potential place just needs to not cut corners with common sense plating etiquette
