My mother-in-law lives a considerable distance from us just outside Swansea so finding a local builder that we trusted was really important to us. Stewart was great to work with and the standard of work was excellent. Thanks Astro :)

We'd been looking for a reliable building service for a while and decided to get in touch with ZAstro Building Services (Wales). From the first conversation the experience was positive. Communication was straightforward everything was explained clearly and the team were friendly and professional throughout. The work was completed to a good standard and we were pleased with how everything turned out. It s always reassuring to find a company that takes its work seriously. Would happily recommend them.

We've had extensive work done. A 2 bedroomed extension with an ensuite bathroom, storage area and hallway. The whole team has been absolutely fantastic! Stewart listened to any concern we had and replied honestly. We added extra work along the way and Stewart was more than happy to accommodate us! Very friendly and trustworthy team, cannot recommend highly enough.

We are really pleased with our extension and building renovations completed by Stewart and his team. They did a fantastic job bringing our ideas to life and delivering what we had hoped for. The team were professional, hard working and went above and beyond throughout the project. It was clear to us that they took pride in their work. They were reliable and kept things moving along well, which made the process much easier for us. We would happily recommend them to others looking for a trustworthy and capable building team.

Stuart's company did a fantastic job for me - mine was a bit different, the previous owners had converted my garage in to another room and I wanted it converting back to a garage. Ross did a very neat and tidy job, now I have a fully working garage again and am able to get my car in, but can still use it as another room. And they came in under their quote. Many thanks,.

A quality builder and exceptional workmanship Astro Building Services were recommended to us by an architect and having used other builders in the past, Stewart and his team far exceeded our expectations. Firstly, he and his team turn up when they say they will (a bonus in itself!) and completed the work on time and on budget. His pricing is very competitive and his team work to a high professional standard, very respectful to our home and are great people to work with. The quality of the workmanship was exceptional, and special thanks should go to Pete and Ross who put in a lot of hours, could not be more helpful and even clean up after themselves! Stewart is very experienced, likeable, and an honest guy and a pleasure to deal with, we would have no hesitation in recommending him to any prospective customers. We will certainly be using him again in the future. Rob and Julie, Ferryside

Stewart and the team from Astro building services have just completed my garage conversion. From the first phone call I had with stewart he has helped me with everything such as building regulations, designing the layout with me and keeping in contact with me on a daily basis to make sure this important project went to plan . This has given me an amazing additional space for my children and myself. Very professional company that I recommend very highly. Thank you very much Astro.

Stewart and his excellent team did a complete kitchen renovation for us this summer. They were outstanding in every respect - high quality work, kind and attentive and left everything clean and tidy afterwards. Would definitely recommend!

Beware Beware of this firm. A friendly relationship turned ugly, as others involved with the renovation unfortunately also reported. All was looking good until we had the infra-red heating system running and saw a crack in the ceiling and burn marks. We learned that Stewart had fitted the heating panels incorrectly, ignoring the instructions, according to the supplier. He swore that the heating was working properly on several previous occasions, which subsequently proved to be impossible because some transformers were found to be faulty (and fitted upside down!) and were replaced by the supplier. We now have a fire hazard in a ground floor flat, now isolated by an electrician. We are now in need of a contractor to establish which panels have been fitted correctly, if any, potentially replace them all with new ones, and probably to replace and plaster the ceiling again. No apology, and no guarantee or recompense available from what is effectively a one man band

We’ve used Stewart and his team in a number of properties that we’ve lived in over the years, in and around the Swansea area. We find his work to be of the highest standard, the prices to be fair and him and his team to be total gentlemen when working in our home. I highly recommend him for your building works and garage conversions in and around Swansea and Carmarthenshire. Thank you.
