AngusPLUMBING Reviews

Whitley, Reading, shower unit replacement. My shower was dripping, so Paul came to assess the problem and see whether it could be fixed there and then with a simple repair. Unfortunately, it turned out that the mixer needed replacing. As I couldn’t find an exact replacement for either the shower or the mixer, I decided to replace the entire shower unit. Paul returned for a second visit and did a fantastic job installing the new shower. I particularly appreciated that he used the existing holes rather than drilling new ones. He also cleaned up thoroughly afterwards, leaving the bathroom absolutely spotless, with no mess whatsoever. The cost was fair and not expensive. Paul himself was friendly, approachable and professional throughout. I also had the opportunity to hear the story behind the name “Angus Plumbing”, and I was genuinely touched by such a positive and heartwarming story. I’m very happy with the service and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Paul and Angus Plumbing. Excellent workmanship, great service and a lovely person to deal with. Highly recommended!

I just wanted to leave a second review because I have now received two (6 monthly) water bills since Angus plumbing fixed the leaky toilet toilets and taps in my home. On each bill, we have saved over £150 Which is excellent, really happy with the Outcome Many thanks

Paul came out ,waited on standby while Thames Water switched off the water supply. He fixed the burst water pipe, charged a fair price. Whilst waiting we chatted, he is a very interesting Chap. Great job.

Unicorn plumber. Always on time, responsive, professional and fixes all problems. Had all the necessary parts with him to fix everything, even for a surprise problem. Incredibly knowledgeable about all things plumbing (and general knowledge!). Very happy to recommend him to everyone in my area of Henley/Hambleden. He is also a Thames water approved plumber.

I have used Angus plumbing 3 times now and cannot recommend them enough. This time around I had a leak under my sink and couldn’t really work it out - turns out it was from some boxed in pipes. Plumber Paul diagnosed the issue super quick and no more leaking pipes :) super speedy, super friendly and super knowledgeable - Paul took time to explain a few things to me as well as showing how to turn the water supply off at my meter :) Do not hesitate to call for help with any plumbing issues or services 😍 thanks so much guys

I have used Angus plumbing twice now and couldn’t recommend them more. On both occasions they have attended at very short notice and sorted the issue quickly and efficiently. They also are great at giving advice and explaining the issues etc should they arise again. I wouldn’t hesitate to call them if needed again in the future. Thanks guys 10/10 :) Laura

Hello Laura (& Charles).

Thanks vm for choosing us to sort out your leaking toilet. Charles as ever was amazing - what an enthusiasm for life he has! The last job we did - advising on your drains and getting Thames Water to clear them though (on your property) was a win. TW usually won’t set foot on private property, but with some well-chosen words they can be persuaded.

If you ever need a Caversham plumber, we’re only a WhatsApp or call away and will be with you ASAP!

Best regards always - The AngusPLUMBING team.

The inlet pipe to our toilet cistern developed a leak that we were unable to fix ourselves. We wanted to use a local plumber, and found Angus Plumbing online. They were able to offer us an appointment later the same day, and Paul arrived on time. He is such a lovely, friendly, positive person and we felt we had known him for years after only just meeting him. Better still, he did a very good, quick job to repair the leaking pipework and charged a very reasonable price (which included a new toilet flush system and valve). Highly recommended, and we will certainly be using Angus Plumbing again.
