I originally contacted American Star Contractor because of a roof leak. During the roof replacement project, they also discovered that our chimney was unstable. As a result, the scope of the project was expanded to include rebuilding the chimney as well. We were glad they were honest with us about the hidden hazards. We later learned that the existing chimney lacked a proper foundation and wall anchors and had been built outside the two layers of siding. Overall, Mir responded very quickly to our urgent situation and moved the project forward efficiently. He provided a quote before the project began, clearly explained the costs, and did not impose any hidden charges. The crew was highly professional and maintained high standards throughout the project. There was a gap between the chimney work and an unfinished section of the roof, which resulted in a leak. However, Mir's team responded promptly, reinforced the affected area, reexamined and rebuilt the leaking section after the rain, and repaired and painted the interior ceiling with a high-quality finish at no additional cost. It was a good experience working with them.

I recently had the pleasure of meeting with American Star Corporation and its Owner, Mir. We had a 20yr old skylight that was leaking into our home paired with a roof that had exceeded its lifespan. I had put off dealing with these issues long enough! When meeting with Mir, I appreciated that there was no hard sell. I decided to place trust with Mir and his professional Team to bring our project to life. Communication was excellent throughout the scope of our project. The Team, headed by George, was respectful and worked very efficiently with great attention to detail. The final results exceeded my expectations and I now have a renewed pride in my childhood home. I will not hesitate to recommend Mir and American Star Corp. to anyone contemplating their next home improvement project. I am looking forward to working with Mir again on my bucket list of home improvements. I am not an easy person to please and I seldom take the time to post a review, but American Star has set the bar very high by providing me outstanding Customer satisfaction. Don't hesitate to connect with Mir to discuss your next home project; they are a rare exceptional company that you can trust.

Excellent team of professionals. They provide honest consulting and great communication. Shoutout to Mir and his team for the roof and chimney work, it received many compliments from the neighbors, someone even signed a contract with them while working on my property. The roof and chimney were both very old and required extensive rebuild/repair. Nice and clean work for both, and my property was left spotless.
