What a lovely restaurant experience. My GF was so stoked to dine here. Our amazing waiter Guy (pronounced Gee) was friendly, informative and charming, and suggested the most amazing smash burger. You MUST order that. Love this place. Big thanks for our American Beech dining experience.

The most amazing time! Went there on Sat to celebrate my birthday with some friends. Inside is stunning! We went through the shop on the side which is also a must see. The host was super nice and managed to find a dry place for us on the patio. It was pouring rain, but we were safe and could enjoy our meal outside. The real star of the show was our server. I believe his name was Hunter, but I might be mistaken. He was very knowledgeable, and walked us through the menu explaining every singe item on the list. I know how hard it can be to manage a loud group of people, but he didn’t give us any sort of attitude and was nothing but super nice. I really appreciate when people in service can get the jokes and smile. Even when you’re dealing with crazy guests. And that was the case. We obviously had some oopsies through the dinner like one of the glasses shattered when they were putting on the table. It took them literally a second to clean the table and bring a new one. No complaint, apologetic and professional. I’m honestly impressed. The food, the drinks- everything was great. The only thing I would say was a miss for us is a dessert (tiramisu bites lacked the cream). But it was still delicious. Thank you I so much guys. Honestly an amazing experience. Will be back once in Greenport!

Outstanding dinner at American Beech. Our server G was kind and attentive and gave great recommendations. The chicken, mahi, and churros for dessert were standouts. We also booked an inside table at a busy time- we asked if there was outside availability expecting a swift no, but the hostesses quickly made accommodations to get us an outside table. Absolutely excellent experience all around, will be back without a doubt.

We walked by this restaurant last summer and stopped for a drink and swore that we had to come back for dinner so this year we kept our promise and we are SO glad we did! The atmosphere is fabulous, I want to live here! The food was excellent and the drinks were even better! Our waiter was such a sweetheart and the service was great. I would highly recommend this place and will definitely be back.

Great drinks and really amazing food, we had the duck wings, smash burger, ponzu tuna and bass cakes that were a special. Service was great as well always attentive. Highly recommended!

This was incredible!! Have come to the bar here a few times and now finally for dinner, and our server G was fantastic. The food was fresh, flavorful, and dishes were so unique, the blackened mahi was my favorite the curry was sooo good.
