ロサンゼルスのクリプト・ドットコム・アリーナでレイカーズ戦を観戦しましたが、まさに本場NBAの雰囲気を体感できる最高の時間でした。
会場に近づくにつれてレイカーズのユニフォームを着たファンがどんどん増えていき、試合前から街全体が盛り上がっているような空気がありました。アリーナの外観も迫力があり、「ここでNBAを見るんだ」という高揚感が自然と高まります。
中に入ると、会場全体のスケール感や演出の華やかさに圧倒されました。照明、音楽、映像、MC、観客のリアクションまで含めて、試合前から一つのショーとして完成されていて、日本のスポーツ観戦とはまた違うエンターテインメント性を感じました。
実際の試合は、選手のスピードやフィジカル、シュートの正確さが想像以上で、テレビで見るNBAとは迫力がまったく違いました。コートとの距離感や観客の熱気もあり、ドリブルの音、シューズの音、歓声が一体になって、現地でしか味わえない臨場感がありました。レイカーズの得点や好プレーが出た瞬間には、会場全体が一気に沸き上がり、その一体感が本当に印象的でした。
また、レイカーズというチームの特別感も強く感じました。歴史ある人気チームということもあり、ファンの熱量が高く、会場全体に独特の華やかさがあります。ユニフォームやグッズを身につけたファンも多く、バスケットボールの試合でありながら、ロサンゼルスのカルチャーを体験しているような感覚もありました。
アリーナ内の売店やグッズショップも充実していて、試合観戦以外の時間も楽しめました。飲食はアメリカらしいボリューム感があり、ビールや軽食を片手にNBAを見る時間はとても特別でした。グッズショップは人気があるため混雑していましたが、レイカーズのアイテムが豊富で、記念に何か買いたくなる雰囲気でした。
アクセス面も比較的分かりやすく、周辺には飲食店やホテルも多いので、観光の予定にも組み込みやすいと思います。ただし、試合前後はかなり混雑するため、時間には余裕を持って行動した方が安心です。特に帰りは人の流れが集中するので、移動手段を事前に考えておくとスムーズだと思います。
全体として、クリプト・ドットコム・アリーナでのレイカーズ戦は、バスケットボール好きにはもちろん、スポーツ観戦やアメリカのエンタメ文化を体験したい人にもおすすめできる素晴らしい体験でした。試合そのものの迫力、会場演出、ファンの熱気、ロサンゼルスらしい雰囲気まで含めて、非常に満足度が高かったです。
NBAを現地で観るなら、一度は訪れる価値のあるアリーナだと思います。またロサンゼルスに行く機会があれば、ぜひもう一度レイカーズ戦を観戦したいです。
Went to Crypto for Alex Warren! I was in Section 303 at the very top level. We had to change seats due to an issue with the seats, and Frank was very helpful. We were moved a few rows away. I was very happy, but then we were moved again down to the bottom!!! We were so close to the stage, thanks to Frank!! Thank you so much, Frank and Crypto!
As a longtime courtside seat member, I was extremely disappointed by the post-game security procedures following the recent Dallas Wings vs. LA Sparks game at Crypto.com Arena.
After the game ended, a large portion of the courtside area was effectively locked down for approximately an hour. Guests who had paid premium prices—well over $1,000 per seat in many cases—were prevented from leaving the area, including being denied access to nearby restroom facilities.
What made the situation particularly frustrating was the complete lack of communication. There was no warning in advance, no notification in the arena, and no mention in the pre-game emails that courtside guests could be detained in an area without access to restrooms, concessions, or basic amenities.
Thousands of people were left waiting to exit while security restricted movement. For seniors, individuals with disabilities, and anyone with urgent personal needs, the situation was unacceptable. In my case, there was no accommodation or compassion shown when I needed access to a restroom.
I understand the need for security measures and player protection. However, during this period, (30 minutes) players remained on the court interacting with teammates, speaking with reporters, and engaging with fans. The restrictions placed on paid guests appeared excessive and unnecessary, particularly given that courtside members have historically demonstrated appropriate decorum and respect for security protocols.
In the many years I have attended games as a courtside member, I have never experienced anything similar. For three decades, players and fans have safely coexisted with reasonable security measures in place. This abrupt change in treatment felt disrespectful to loyal supporters and diminished what should have been a celebratory evening honoring 30 years of LA Sparks basketball.
Crypto.com Arena owes its guests better communication, better planning, and basic access to essential facilities. If these policies continue, many longtime supporters may begin questioning whether this remains the right venue for the fan experience they have come to expect.
