No no no. I took my son here after he had a severe allergic reaction to egg that landed us in the ER. They completed the skin testing which was negative and wanted to do additional bloodwork but said that he may have "FPIES" and called it not a "true" allergy. FPIES is a rare but very real food allergy which is not IGE +. Anyways I continued to ask questions as to why the bloodwork was necessary as it would be negative for an FPIES and how the bloodwork would determine the course. I just kept getting told it was to determine if he had a "real" allergy or not. They also told me I could basically reintroduce at home whenever, super nonchalant -- no need for in office food challenge. Anyways I ran FAST from this place and found a local FPIES specialist and I'm SO glad I did. Our new physician said absolutely no egg in any form until we do an in office food challenge at around 2.5 YEARS old starting with baked egg only and the outcome of that will determine how the rest of the reintroduction goes. Also our new physician gave me a letter to the ER explaining my son's allergy and explaining how best to treat it. I feel so much better with my son's new care team and found this office to be extremely uneducated about FPIES in general. OH also our new allergist agreed there is literally no reason to put my infant through bloodwork at this time. Basically if you are concerned your child may have FPIES-- DO NOT come here.

Great experience with this practice! Dr. Mathuria is very kind, provides great explanations and reviews all of your options with you. The staff, nurses and front desk staff are very thorough, helpful and explain clearly the process. Communications from the office are also very timely and appropriate, such as if the office has an unplanned closure. Clean, bright office with easy (free) parking.

Dr. Mathuria was very kind and answered the many questions I had. It was a long wait, but that’s what I expected given that they were doing a multi-step allergy test on me. The staff was kind as well. It was a good overall experience.

I can’t say enough great things about this office! Dr. Seth and the team are so kind, professional, and knowledgeable. They really take the time to get to know you and make you feel cared for. Scheduling is super easy, and the patient portal is simple to use. The front desk staff are always friendly and welcoming, and I actually look forward to my appointments. Can’t express enough how refreshing it is speaking/working with them regarding my case. I’m now on monthly maintenance, and it’s been such an easy process. The results have been incredible! I highly recommend them for allergy care!

My son had an appointment with the nurse practitioner and everything was great from beginning to end. The staff was super friendly. We got checked in right away. This place is amazing. Staff for the allergy shots change here and there and they ALWAYS have people that make you feel welcome. I live in Manassas and come out here for my shots because I'm so picky.
