A wonderful place in the vastness of Hungary, you probably won't find anything better at such a reasonable price. The apartment itself is superb, the bedroom is very comfortable, and the only thing I'd note is the location. I had to walk 20 minutes, but it was worth it. I recommend it to everyone!

Cheap and deceiving
☺ For us it was just a transit accommodation to our holiday destination. Fortunately. The view was really beautiful, the property being positioned on a hill above the city. The surroundings also beautiful, a nice and quite residential area. Very near the Austrian border. The price is also low enough to compensate for the discomfort.
☹ Communication with host was difficult. The check-in instructions received on booking.com were in Hungarian, not exactly a language spoken by many non-Hungarian tourists, while the check-in link was inactive. The English version was sent later on request, only after I insisted, initially the host recommending that I use Google Translate to understand. Two days before check-in I still did not have the link, which was essential to be able to access the apartment. When I insisted, I was told that "I am on holiday in Albania and could not communicate”. Upon arriving at the property we had to call to request an access code to the apartment, the one provided not being functional. Inside the apartment we were surprised to see there was no sheet on the bed, but only a mattress cover. They tried to convince me that that was the "sheet", although in the pictures on booking, as well as those posted by other tourists, it is clearly visible that the bed is covered with a white sheet. In the end, after an argument and a long conversation in Hungarian between the lady and the owner, a sheet was put on the bed, but the discomfort remained. After ten hours of driving, it was not very comfortable to wait in front of a door to be given the correct code or to wait, half undressed, for a sheet to be put on the bed. The bathroom has a double door to the bedroom, with clear glass, no privacy at all.

We have reviewed the points you raised in your feedback (use of rubber cotton sheets, online check-in, the use of booking.com's automatic interpreter, and personal assistance on site) and have determined that in the future, we need to provide more detailed information about the automatic processes involved in online booking, unstaffed code entry, and the online check-in process. Most of our guests choose us because of these features, but we also have to consider those who do not like or prefer not to use these systems. In the case of sheets, since we opened, we have been using rubberized cotton sheets and, in the summer, cooler microfiber sheets, so we have not found any problems with our operations. Most private accommodations use these sheets for practical reasons; they are soft, comfortable, and do not crease or wrinkle during use. With all this in mind, we were honored that you chose our apartment for your one-night stay. Thank you again for your review, and we wish you a pleasant trip!
